Shooting on Location

In Call of the Dead, kill 10 zombies with one Scavenger shot from over 100 feet away.

How to unlock the Shooting on Location achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Definitive Guide

Solution is for Solo play and for those that can run circles, if you were good at running circles on Ascension this is for you...

if the box starts in front of the lighthouse then continue if not you can restart or just spend more time and money and better risk of dying, buy quick revive, after the 2nd round open the 1 boat (not the one towards the ship, the one towards the cave) and go to the lighthouse, hit the box and get a good smg, lmg, assault rifle. Build up a few thousand points then open the top door of the lighthouse and head down the stairs to the bottom, you can run around the bottom in a circle and avoid all of the zombies, then just turn around and spray to build points.

if you lose quick revive go buy it again, at the end of every round or two throw a grenade and knock down a zombie and turn him into a crawler. now you can choose to hit the box and try and get the scavenger (it looks like a really long smiper rifle), or you can go get Juggernaug, or both. Jug can come in handy depending how long it takes to get the scavenger...

once you get the scavenger you can either upgrade it or head back down to the bottom of the lighthouse and run circles, you don't have to upgrade the weapon but it helps because it becomes more powerful, i'd choose to upgrade because it has the opportunity to kill more people, run circles at the bottom of the lighthouse until you have all the zombies you can get, run to the top floor where you came in and run to the right and down towards that cave and the boat that you paid 750 to move and back to the starting area, once at starting area look towards cave while scoped in with scavenger, once you see a zombie shoot him and run towards the ship, you just have to be 100 feet away when it kills the zombies, 100 feet may not be as far as you think it is, its not that far.... achievement should pop right away after explosion...

if it didn't work then, then keep running to the ship, once on the ship look towards the starting area and shoot the group again... again, it should pop here if you have a good group.

**2nd solution**

just did this and helped a friend out, 2 players.

play normally, the person that needs the achievement gets the scavenger out of the box, once this happens use all grenades you have to make crawlers, get 10+ crawlers near the bottom of the lighthouse outside, the person with the scavenger goes to the top of the ship and shoots the pile of zombies when fog has cleared and when the group of zombies is all together, achievement unlocked.

*one person run circles at bottom of lighthouse and throw grenades at the floor to get the most crawlers possible

This one has yet to work after 15 tries with an upgraded scavenger. In most cases, i was at at the first set of stairs leading to the ship while the zombies were still in the cave prior to the explosion. And I was doing this at rounds 12-16 so there were well more that 10 zombies in that group. Are you sure this achievement will unlock when using an pack a punched scavenger as opposed to just a standard one?

i did this without upgrading the scavenger, had fast zombies chase me out the lighthouse, 20+ zombies, ran down the way i said and turned around near the water where you start and that bridge and shot when i saw a couple zombies come around the corner, i aimed for the furthest back zombie, obviously you want to stick one most likely, then i immediately ran towards the ship, i got it first try. not much more i can say, obviously this method has worked for a lot of people so it should work for you unless something is wrong or you are just running really bad with hitting a good spot with your shot.

I circled the zombies in the lighthouse, ran out and shot them at the MP5K (they should be coming out the light house door and be on the stairwell). I found this a better place to shoot them as if you get too far away the zombies will respawn next to you and therefore remove themselves from the cluster. Did this on wave 4 sao they died easily.

that could be your problem @Reaper08R , are you getting TOO far away from the zombies to cause them to respawn somewhere else? maybe too high of a level that the scavenger isn't as good? try using a non upgraded scavenger before round 8? just trying to throw out some more ideas.

I bought Stamin-up, and as soon as they got to the first set of wood stairs going down to the cave, I ran like hell and got to the bridge thing, (with a P-O-P'd Scavenger) shot the head zombie, and ran like hell to the ship. Popped right away.

I had trouble with zombies re-spawning at first, but buying the Stamin-up made me run faster and longer, so I kinda stayed in sight of the zombies. AND I did it on round 11, so they were running fast by that time. If you lose sight of the zombies they will re-spawn, so try Stamin-up.

If you're struggling for cash at the beginning, in the first 2 rounds shoot the zombies in the legs 8 times and then knife them. Every little bit helps.

I found an easy way to do it solo: train a bunch of crawlers around the ak74u, wait for no fog and run towards the big boat from the boat barrier, when at the end shoot at the zombies and right after you shoot sprint towards jugernaut. I did it with staminup so you may want that too.

Imagine being lucky enough to get the scavenger, as in actually that 1 in 4 million chance, the game automatically knows and cheats from that point. You’re pinned and dead within moments, every time you have a train of 10 they despawn or it doesn’t count 10 kills. This achievement is fucking rigged BS like all of the stupid Easter egg shit

I managed to grab it on wave 4 - ran circles around quick revive/start area until they all were in the water then ran towards power/shot back/continue running to power

This one took me forever to get. It's not even that it's hard. But if you're playing co-op this feels nearly impossible to do unless you know a buddy who can hook you up and train all the zombies for you. After many failed attempts I finally ended up doing it by making as many crawlers as I could in spawn and shooting them from where the intro cutscene takes place. I had to communicate with my teammates tho to not kill my crawlers.

I agree with @Andreka0... After having respawn issues when running all the way to the Olympia (starting area), I tried stopping at the MP5 (top of the cave) and shooting from there. The train was all bunched up trying to get out of the light house (top of the stairs) and I had enough time to get off 2 shots. I got the achievement with my 2nd shot. If you miss your shot here, you can still run down to the Olympia for another shot. And since you stopped at the MP5, the train is closer to you, meaning less chance of respawning. I got lucky at the box and ended up getting the achievement in round 5, without upgrading the Scavenger. Good luck!!!

Got this one solo in round 5. I made sure the mystery box was near the lighthouse. First round I shot the zombies 3 times then knifed them. Second round I shot them three time with the pistol (that is all you need the first two rounds) then knifed them twice. Leave one alive this round. You will run out of ammo. You should have enough money to clear the boat next to the cave and hit the mystery box twice. If you do not get the scavenger this round start over. Next round I went back to the beginning point and once the round started I ran in circles until all of the zombies were close together in the water. I did not kill any of them. I then ran to the lighthouse platform and looked down to the beginning spot. I waited until the zombies started into the cave and then shot the scavenger. Once I shot the scavenger I turned toward the lighthouse and ran to the other side of the platform away from zombies. [EDIT: As pointed out in the comment, if you have enough money open the bottom door to the lighthouse at the top of the steps. Once you take the shot run up the steps and into the lighthouse. This should solve any distance problem you may be encountering] This did not work rounds 3 and 4 but I got it on round five. I know I killed enough zombies in round 3 and 4 so the distance may be why it did not pop. Just make sure you are near the back part of the platform when the shot explodes. The hardest part is getting the scavenger in round 2. Took a couple of hours but eventually got it.

This is by far the simplest solution for the average player. I tried the others on here for several days (this ach was really giving me fits) - i just couldnt make it happen for various reasons. Only thing I would add is that the range seemed to be a problem for me also, so I opened the main lighthouse door (by the box). After I shot, i ran up the stairs & into the lighthouse & it finally popped. Thanks mike!

SICK GUIDE MAN +1. First time I tried this achievement, box spawned at the lighthouse when I loaded it, first gun I got was scavenger, then just waited until the start of round 5, went in circles then waited by the quick revive so all the zombies would come towards me, ran to the lighthouse, shot down at the spawn of the cave and boom, achievement. Top guide geezer.

i think youre solution is fantastic but i just cant get them to bunch like i see in the other vids,as soon as i start to move away to to my shot point wherever i have chose, the zombz split up,either there are a couple that are too fast and the others cant keep up or they re spawn somewhere else, any suggestions, this achievement has now taken over from Mile High Club in CoD4 for most time spent on one achievement, any help mucho grassyio :]

I ran in a circle in the spawn area through the water and across the bridge. I would run in half circles or in any direction to get them bunched together in the water. I would cross the water to the revive machine. Another key to this is that it needs to be done in the earlier rounds. I agree that if you get in the higher rounds the zombies are too fast.

Hey. I'm having problems getting this to work. After I get the Scavenger, where exactly am I supposed to shoot from? Do I stand at the top of the steps near the mystery box, or further down near the cave? I've been standing near the box and aiming down at the zombies in the water. Not working for me though.

It has been a while since I played this map but I stood on the platform next to the rail which I believe looks over the lake/spawn area. Once the zombies exit the water and start to enter the cave, this is the furthest visible point you have from where you are standing. Fire the shot at the entrance of the cave and as soon as you shoot turn around and go in the opposite direction on the other side of the platform. Jedimaster suggested opening the door to the lighthouse and run into it after your shot to get even further away. Hope this helps.

This is definitely the best guide for getting this achievement solo. What I did was exactly the same as Michael described. I also waited until round 5 so I had enough to open up the door into the lighthouse from the stairs.

Well after about 4-5 hours of trying I finally got the Scavenger after 50+ box attempts. Tried it on wave 5, didn't kill enough as it was foggy so I couldn't see, hit George and pissed him off, and I was screwed. There's just no way to get back down to the spawn point after that.

Total luck based achievements can go f themselves.

Open both the ship and the lighthouse areas, to do this you have to open up all the doors in the lighthouse area and open up the back of the ship (You will see where once you look down from the top of the lighthouse). Make sure have the Scavenger rifle equiped (Random Box) and make your way to the top of the zipline (Top of the Lighthouse), make sure there 10+ Zombies close to you and shoot one with the Rilfe, as soon as you shoot the Zombie take the Zipline down and you should unlock the achievement.

Use the video below for another pretty simple way on how to get it in Solo.

I've done the zipline strategy (i.e. clustering a group of roughly 20+ zombies then shooting at the group right before jumping onto the lighthouse zipline) at least 20 times now with both a regular or upgraded scavenger and still no achievement. And yeah, i definitely had the distance, as i was near the bottom of the zipline prior to the explosion. So, basically, don't get your hopes up with this guide ;(

This achievement will take co-operation between at least two player to perform it easiest. Ideally one on the lighthouse with the exploding shot sniper riffle and one rounding up the zombies.

My solution follows on from GMichealC's-mystery box spawning outside the lighthouse, open up the cave and hit the box as soon as ya can,no scavanger, just die-dont restart because chances are the box will be moved,if you die,the box will stay where it origionally spawned,.
OK,so this is what i did,-got the scavanger at about halfway through round 2,and i'd worked out that just beside the qwik-revive,to the left, theres a small lagoon type area where you can lead the zombies in and on the left, theres a large rock, with an escape size gap made just for you,so once you have as many zombies into this small lagoon area and as far in as they will go then you make your escape and dont get out your scavenger till you are at the bottom of the cave, look through the scope at a zombie as far back in the pack as poss and fire at him, change gun quickly and leg it,by the time you get to the top of the cave where the MP5K is,your cheevo will have popped.
Now i spent a good 24 hours on this cheevo so if there is any confusion as to where i mean by lagoon,or mayby you just want to be shown how i did it,just hit me up,i would be happy to oblige.
Just a qwik note-it took me another 2 rounds to finally get the cheevo so round 4 for me.The earlier the round, the easier the zombies.GOOD LUCK :]
EDIT-You dont have to change guns once youve taken the shot,i just had my pistol and so would run much faster without the scavenger in my hand, but i dont think itll make that much difference.

I hated this achievement, but once I got a hold of the scavenger it was quite easy.
The strategy I followed was a mash up of a few different ones.

Make sure to have the box start at the lighthouse. Then, I kept building points in the spawn area until about round 5 or so, then bought the MPL and turned the power on. (I'll explain later) Going for the box whenever I could afford it.

Next, I actually wasted my scavenger on George because I wasn't thinking ahead. Although that did net me Jugger-nog, so I was good on that tip.

Then on down to the bottom outside of the lighthouse running circles until I got enough to PaP my scavenger. (Not necessary but, helpful in this case) Once I did that it, I gathered all the zombies I could on screen and basically walked to the spawn area, always keeping the zombie crew (25?) close, when I got to the floor with the flinger, thats when I ran to the flinger, so the zombies wouldn't make it to the zip line before I hit the flinger (this is why I turned the power on).

I flung myself over to the lighthouse and the zombie posse started turning around to go back to the spawn area, I fired at them when they were going down the stairs from the ship and crossed my fingers. BOOM! Achievement unlocked!
Like, I said the PaP does help immensely with the fog factor, but it does not have to be done. This was the most helpful vid I could find & I followed it closely.

Kudos to VultureLives for making the vid!
Hope this helps!

Just got this while playing with three other friends. What we did was play normally until one of us got the Scavenger (got it around round 10). Once we finished that round we decided to go for the achievement. What we did was make 10-15 crawlers(we had two ray guns which makes crawlers easier to make than normal grenades although you could make crawlers with frag grenades). Once we had our crawlers we took out the rest of the zombies and started leading them to the starting point near quick revive. I left my friends at the starting point and went to the base of the lighthouse right in front of the doors where a box location is and waited until all 10 zombies were in one cluster, shot my Scavenger and BAM... achievement unlocked.

NOTE: The Scavenger does NOT have to be pack-a-punched.
NOTE: It is much easier to make crawlers if someone has the ray gun (just shoot there legs).
NOTE: Try playing through the game as you normally would and once you get the scavenger go for the achievement.

For me, I found that the Ray Gun was critical to getting this achievement. Also, buying Juggernog is essential as well (you just don't know when you will get the Scavenger) and buying Quick Revive will guarantee that you get another chance should you go down. The Ray Gun will really make your job easier because of its power and, in later rounds, it can make a ton of crawlers.

In order to build up the bank account, I decided to run around the spawn point in a circle, using the Ray Gun to clear out enemies and make crawlers. By the time I was ready to go for the shot, I had an upgraded Ray Gun and upgraded Scavenger. I had a ton of crawlers (seemed like twenty) and I ran to the front of the lighthouse to the area where the weapons box can be found. I simply waited until the zombies were in one beautiful cluster and I pulled the trigger. POP!

The upgraded Scavenger is nice because it will let you sight in thermally and the fog will make no difference; however, the weapon does not have to be upgraded. Again, purchase Juggernog/Quick Revive so things will be easier and hope the box is kind. Some people prefer to run circles on the bottom floor of the lighthouse, but this tactic didn't work for me. I preferred to have a little more space. Good luck and happy hunting.

This achievement is a little challenging. The first time i attempted it, i made it to level 24 and hit the mystery box 25 plus times and still no scavenger. The 2nd time i got to level 9 before i got the scavenger and the achievement. I red quite a few strategies on how to do it, and i decided to go with the 10 plus crawlers idea.

So this is what i did...

First...make sure you restart so the mystery box is close. (either the first big ship below the power switch or right in front of the lighthouse.)

Rounds 1-4

I shot and knifed my way through these few rounds, gathering up points to turn the power on. Also my mystery box was right below the power switch on the first ship. I grabbed my self a quick revive and the m14.

Rounds 5-6

I ran around between the spawn and the first ship killing zombies and racking up points. With the help of max ammo and double points i had right around 6000 points at the end of round 6. I left a crawler so i could hit up the mystery box, and with no luck of getting a scavenger, i had got the commando and decieded to pack a punch it. Reason why? because if you want to make it to later rounds, pack a punch weapons are key.

Rounds 7-8

Staying by the quick revive machine, using my m14 to pick off zombies and switching to my pap commando (predator as they call it) to hammer them down, i had roughly 4 or 5 more stabs at the box. On my 2nd try i had got the scavenger and deicided to go spend my remaning points on the juggernaut perk. Also by fixing up barriers and windows i had a 760 points left to buy the boat, that leads up to the lighthouse. (left of spawn)

*Note: Knowing i'm not the type of player that likes to make small circles to hoard zombies, i had big path laid out from the spawn, big boat where the power is, down around to the bottom of the light house, through the cave, and back to the spawn again. My theory was, that if i could make enough crawlers, and kite them up close to the main boat, i could hit the flipper (catapult) and by the time i'd land by the lighthouse, i could switch to the scavenger and wait for the crawlers to all clump together and waddle their way down across the spawn.

Round 9

With my theroy in place, i stood right next to the quick revive machine pelting a few spawning zombies. Finally it was time to get a big enough group and drop a grenade. I ran up to the to the boat and drop one, getting a about 5 or 6 out of the group. i decided to hit the flipper and fly across to the lighthouse. I mowed down a few spawning zombies again, and grouped up a few more and dropped a well thrown grenade getting about 10 plus in that group. Knowing that i had well over 10 plus crawling around, i mowed down any fast moving zombies with the pap commando. When all was said and done i had 17 to 19 crawlers. A group of faster ones and huge group of slower ones. So with my plan in mind i ran back up to the large boat and kited the faster ones up the side of the ship, and i hit the flipper, throwing me back by the lighthouse. I pulled my scavenger out and watched the faster moving cralwers clump together with the slower ones. With me standing by the mystery box spawn in front of the lighthouse, i zoomed in to the right of the mystery box spawn where you and I spawn during the start of the game. As the crawlers moved closer up to the cave i blasted one shot with the scavenger killing 15 or more crawlers. The achievement popped.

***Laslty my guide is a little long and drawn out, but my point being it's better to be lucky then good. The hardest part about this achievement is getting the scavenger. Like i said, i'm not a person who's good at clumping zombies together in tight spaces so i decieded to do the crawler method. Using a ray gun would be alot easier to shoot the legs of the zombies, but well placed grenades work as well. As for a 100ft, it's really not that far, i used the catapult because i knew i'd be plenty far away, not to mention the radius of the explosion from the scavenger is pretty big.

Hopefully this guide helps someone out, let me know if you have any questions.

Solo Solution:
Ok for someone who was having trouble with the methods above because either A it just doesnt pop or B you have no one to help you, try what I did. Simply put, the lighthouse running is GENIUS and I congratulate those that came up with it, but I could never use the cave solution and after much debate with other players and trail and error I believe that getting this achievement WHILE ON the zipline may be glitched or impossible. The only things you need for this is Juggernaut, Quick Revive, a few doors open, and the Scavenger. This is a guide that works best in solo.
Here is the simple part.
Get George as far away from the lighthouse as possible before you start the round.
Make sure the light house is unblocked including zipline at top. (To unblock that you have to buy some entrace that will make you able to get the the area below the lighthouse Either bottom of the lighthouse door, door next to the vault (where characters are trapped) or the boat leading the the broken half of the ship by lighthouse. b/c the game will not let you get trapped in a new area so if you fall there has to be a way to escape.)
Alright, here is the lucky part. Get the scavenger out of the mystery box. Ray gun is nice though not needed. If you attempt this past wave 15 or 16 you may want to pack a punch the scavenger. Run circles in the light house SECOND FLOOR. Mostly b/c the you may be required to open a door on the first floor and that makes this hard. And the door on the second floor isnt one that needs opening. Stick to the outside of the circle and run til you think that the max number of zombies has spawned.
Hint earlier rounds = less max zombie spawn.
Get them in a tight ground and haul ass up the lighthouse and jump to the zipline after pulling out scavenger. As soon as you land turn around. There should be a massive amount of zombies zipping towards you, blast the middle of the group and run fast. If done early enough this works. If your having trouble you may want to wait until your character vocalizes that the fog is clearing or get the PAP version of the scavenger which has thermal, makes the aiming easier.
Group Solution:
Ok, this one is way more simple, but with one serious note to start. DO NOT OPEN THE LIGHTHOUSE. This trick will work with two people, but three is best. When you start the game do not worry about the box. Buy the good SMGs off the wall MP40 MP5K or AK74u will work. Rack up as many points as you can to buy Juggernaut and Speedy. If you open the lighthouse from the very bottom (Next to AK74u) you can open it all the way to the top and you basically have a sealed off area. One person runs around the topmost circular floor (counter clockwise tends to work best just b/c of stair placement), the other player(s) stay at the top manning the windows. (If you have only two Jugg and Speedy is almost required for the top window person.) The player on the window level should have scavenger. Once all zombies are following the runner. Have him lead them to the bottom most floor. At this point it wont matter that the door is open b/c no new zombies should be spawning. Make sure he has at least ten following. Here you can either
A) Have him lead them out into the snowy area by the AK74u and have the window level person shoot from the top of Lighthouse. Easily 100 feet or
B) Have the window person go down the lighthouse until they see the crowd at the bottom, pop a shot, and haul ass up the stairs. Both methods tried and worked.
I will say that these methods are easier once the gun is upgraded but it is not strictly needed.
Good Luck everyone. Leaves comments or questions.

Just a quick solution on how I nearly got this last night.. but made one easy error which I'm not sure has been mentioned above.

The first thing to note is that getting the Scavenger is complete luck and to a degree this may drive you mad..

[!]Round 1[!]

Buy Quick Revive straight away.. then try and line up the zombies so that you shoot two at once.. shoot the first zombie 5 times and knife and then shoot the second zombie 3 times and knife.
If they have come through the window leave one zombie and fix the window then sort him out.

[!]Round 2[!]

Buy the M14.
use the pistol until you run out of ammo, 6 shots then knife this time tho.
Once out of ammo switch to the M14 and shoot once and knife finish to maximise points.

[!]Round 3[!]
Same as above but shoot twice and knife.
If at any point you get max ammo switch to pistol.

[!]Round 4[!]
Remove boat next to ship and grab the MPL from the wall to replace you pistol.
Use the M14 again until you get overun, 3 shots and knife.
Once then overun switch to MPL and go for hipfire headshots.
Remember to use the water to make your escape, and also take care of the fast paced zombies first.
NEVER run the bridge unless you have to.

Rinse and repeat for rounds 5 and 6.
Remember to leave a crawler by cooking a grenade and throwing it into a crowd if you need to restock ammo.

Once you reach the end of round 6 you should have considerable points.. head to the ship and follow the arrows to the power room to turn on the power.
Once on head to Jug.. to get here from the power room head down to the main deck.. then instead of heading back to the spawn area head towards the other end of the ship.. remove the boat and drop down onto the other section of the ship.
Now head down the stairwell.. take a left and open the door at the end.. head down those stairs into the water pool and up the other side.. at the end of this corridor you will find Jug. Now head back to the spaw area.

[!]Round 7[!]

Stay in spawn and take out this wave.. leaving one crawler..
Repatch all windows on the ship that need done and the one in spawn.. then remove the boat towards the lighthouse/cave area.
Once there run past the light house door.. down the external stairs next to where the Stand In/Ensemble cast achievement starts and open the door leading to the front slope outside the light house.

Now open the lighthouse front door and the back door leading to Stammin Up (if you have enough credits).

Run out the front again, this is where you will be doing most of your running through the next few rounds trying to get the Scav.

If the box is near hit it, keep a good weapon if you get it and buy the AK74u from the wall outside the light house front door.

[!]Round 8[!]

As per the solo strat attached in the video below.. run a train of zombies round the front area of the lighthouse.. trying to only fire when they are away from George. If you do hit George then run up the side of the lighthouse and back to the start area.. get him in the water asap.. but try to leave crawlers so you don't get overrun.

Buy Stamin Up and ASAP.. Speed Cola is also quite handy.. this can be found by running down the ice slide which is located to the right of the exit door towards the water leading to Stammin Up.

Run this strat till you get the Scav.. then if you have enough points look for the Pack-A-Punch machine and upgrade it.

Now.. for the bit I messed up on..

I was on round 14.. I had a good train of zombies outside the lighthouse.. got them running close to me then I bolted to the spawn area.

DO NOT DO THIS...

As a i found out they respawn if they get too far away.. so... keep them close till you hit the stairs leading to the cave.

Once there... then BOLT... straight down to the bridge area at spawn.. get your sights on the cave.. hen you see the first few pop a shot into the wall above or behind them and run like mad for the ship..

Press select to see your score and you should see that you hit enough..

If you don't... don't stress. Get next to the catapult on the ship (up the stairs from the main deck and on the left before the M16, you will hear a clicking noise when you step on.. but don't stay on as it will throw you automatically..), watch for the zombies coming up to the stairs to the ship and then catapult to the other side of the map.
Now zoom onto the stairs and look for them heading through spawn to you.. hit one and you should here the pop :)

Hope this helps some people.. I'm going to try again tonight.
I was like 5 seconds from victory last night! :(

Solo Strat is attached first then a quick viddo guide to the Scav shot required..

I got this without trying, I was playing solo and I had the mystery box on the 1st spawn to the left (lighthouse) and got the scavenger, I carried on playing when I turned the power on I stayed at the top until I got over run then I dropped down to the flinger/catapult and went over to the lighthouse, I looked down and saw all the zombies running down the stairs over to me, as they don't use the catapult, I fired a shot in the middle of the pack and boom popped, I didn't know it was a achievement before this I just used the gun to clear them before they got to me, btw it was a non upgraded scavenger. Got this by Round 7/8 . Hope this helps :)

This achievement can be a bit difficult. I recommend doing this with 4 players. Getting the Scavenger isn't too difficult, probably just a bit harder than the VR11. Have as many players get Juggernog. Have the person with the Scavenger go up to the power room with one other person protecting him. Have two people run around the main area with Juggernog. Make sure you are communicating well, and once the two players get 10 + zombies around them, they need to tell you to fire. My group did just that and executed well. I got the achievement! Good luck.

Have one guy run around were im running in the Beginning og the vid to gather about 15 zombies, then the person who is trying to get the achievement goes on top of the boat and shoots down were the other person is guiding the zombies.
JUST WATCH THE VID AND YOU WILL GET IT!!!!
ITS MY VID SO FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ON IT THANK YOU!!!!

This is what I did to get this achievement:

Perks:
Quick Revive
Juggernog
Mule Kick (I don't know if you need Rezurrection to get it on the other maps on Live)
Slight of Hand

Weapons:
Awful Lawton
Scavenger (of course)

What I did was I went into the bottom floor of the lighthouse and ran circles until I was able to get a large amount of zombies following me. Then I started back to the starting area of the map, facing behind me to make sure they were all following me. When I reached the tunnel after going down the steps (the first tunnel to go to the lighthouse from the starting area), I shot an Awful Lawton bolt into the walls, once to make them slow down, then again as I got further away. Then I fired my Scavenger once I got to the spot where the videos tell you to shoot at (the bridge between the M14 and Olympia, facing the tunnel). I fired twice for good measure and I got the achievement around Round 13 doing this.

Just a guide I made to help out anyone struggling to survive, cheers.

Simple way that works all the time for me and a friend. Game starts just knife until round 3 starts. At the start of round 3, buy the 750 boat that takes you to the power boat. Buy the MPL for 1000. Hold out on that floor for this round, and empty your pistol ammo first. After that round, buy the 1250 crates and hold out for the next round on the top of the boat, DO NOT buy the power room door yet. If George comes up to the top take the zipwire to the water and make your way back to the top. At the end of that round/start of next round, buy the power room door and turn the power on. Now go all the way to the bottom floor of the ship and buy the boat on the right hand side past a set of stairs on the outside and fall down. Buy the MP40, and hold out on the top of this boat until one person has 3500 points and one has 2500, but preferably 3250. Go downstairs via the door next to you, and the person with 3500 points buy the door that's to your immediate left.

Cross the water (jump to lessen the freeze) and buy Juggernog. JUGGERNOG IS ESSENTIAL. Now rush back to the snowy top of the boat and take the right drop off the boat. Buy the boat for 750 points and hold out at the bottom of the lighthouse. MAKE SURE one person has 1000 points and the other has 1500. Replacing the MPL with the AK-74u is also advised here. After that round, the 1000 pointer buys the door to the lighthouse. Both of you run up to the second floor (the metal one). The 1500 pointer must then buy the desk that is barricading the stairs, then run up another level and buy that barricade. DO NOT CARRY ON GOING UP THE STAIRS. You will trap yourself at the top and most likely down and die. If someone goes down, MAKE NO ATTEMPT TO REVIVE THEM, it is important you stay put or it's all over. Now, one person should be on the 2nd (metal) floor, and one person should be on the 3rd (wooden) floor. Walk (not sprint) around in circles. The zombies will follow you. Make sure to HUG THE OUTSIDE WALL; when zombies jump through windows they go to the inside wall, so you can run past them and they will then chase you. At regular intervals, turn around and spray with the AK-74u or MP40. MPL runs out of ammo too fast. Note that the 2nd floor of the lighthouse is potentially the more dangerous floor as the zombies that spawn from outside will come through the door at the bottom and could swarm you. Don't panic, just shoot the zombies when they are behind you. Don't let them flank you, only turn around when you're sure nothing will be in front of you.

When you get some points, throw grenades and make crawlers. Then feel free to go to the random box to get some better weapons, pack a punch machine for obvious reasons and buy perks. The perks I would recommend getting are PHD Flopper (prevents fall damage and great with the Scavenger), Speed Cola (faster reloads, helps with box weapons like the RPK and HK21 and Stamin-Up (just because you can).

If you follow this strategy you can take breaks by making crawlers to do the Stand-In and Ensemble Cast achievements, or buy spinning a Scavenger or VR-11 in the box net the Shooting on Location or Stuntman achievements. Just follow this strategy and you should be fine. Hope this helps :)

better solution here. using 2-4 people depending on preference. whoever has scavenger camps in power room. everybody else cover stairs and other window. when a leader or caller decides its near the premium spawn point (tons of zombies) call zipline or flinger or another word of choice. one person takes zipline to bottom of the boat the rest take flinger. person that goes to bottom should be a skilled zombie runner. person with scavenger camps by box outside of light house facing spawn room window waiting. others near him cover his ass. when the person on the bottom has enough zombies he will run them to the window and yell SHOOT when the timings right even if it is a sacrifice to get them theere. with the right teamates and timing this achievement cant be easier

I got this playing with a few randoms. I had juggs + phd and just ran around the default rape train area around the bottom of the light house (if I pissed off George, I just ran into the pool nearby). Luckily got a fire sale and spun the box outside twice (above the phd machine) before getting the scavenger. Once I've left a crawler, I packed the scavenger and made sure I had max ammo in the ak47u. Once the round started and I had roughly 20 zombies, I ran up toward the phd machine and then up and down toward the game starting area. Once I had enough distance, just shot into the pack and got it at round 13.

This solution is for 2-players.

First - unless you are OK with going into the later rounds, make sure the random box spawns on the lighthouse steps. If not, restart until it does.

Next, stay in the spawn area and keep racking up points and hitting the random box until the person getting the achievement gets the scavenger. You will have to spend 750 to clear the boat away from the lighthouse path to get to the random box.. If the box moves, you may choose to open up the doors to get to it or restart.

Player 2 (not getting achievement) needs at least 1000 more points to open the door below the phd flopper to get to the area where he can run circles which is just outside the dooe to the lighthouse bottom floor and near the path to the ship where you get Jug. Jug is not necessary if you are good at running circles.

Player 1 (getting the achievement) will need 750 + 750 + 1000 to get to the far end of the ship where the box spawns sometimes and get to a place where he can see player 2 running circles. The last 1000 may be optional depending on where Player 1 can get a good look at Player 2.

Player 1 should also have a good weapon to defend against any zombies that Player 2 does not hoard up.

Player 2 will then run circles in the area outside the lighthouse creating the ever popular zombie train. When a sufficient number of zombies have gathered up, the guy on the ship will shoot a scav shot into the group and this should pop the achievement, as it is well over 100ft away.

Comments and constructive criticism welcome. Always open to improving my solution. Good luck.

The Scavenger is a new Sniper Rifle in the escalation DLC which is again obtained through the random weapon box. It shoots exploding bullets which explode after roughly 3 seconds. To get this trophy you will want to do pretty much the same as you did to get the "Sacrificial Lamb" trophy in the main game. Round up 10+ Zombies, make sure you far away from them and when your ready shoot one of them, there will be a huge explosion and the trophy will pop if you managed to kill 10 of them. Try do this this on the earlier rounds because it gets harder to kill the zombies as you progress. The best place to do this is to round up 10 crawlers where you start off and then quickly run all the way up to lighthouse, go up the lighthouse steps then shoot the crawlers. You can do the same thing in CO-OP, just have another play round up 10 zombies down the bottom and shoot them from the same place. If you want a second opinion refer to the video below:

What you should do, is running in circles at the bottom of the lighthouse until all zombies have spawned in and are running behind you.
After this, there are multiple ways, but the upper video helped me the most.

The Scavenger is a new weapon introduced in Call Of The Dead. Pack-a-Punched this gun is renamed Hyena Infra-Dead. It comes with extra ammunition, a bigger magazine size, bigger blast radius, and an infrared scope. It is recommended you do pack a punch this gun when going for this achievement as the blast radius is bigger.

To get this, start at the bottom of the lighthouse outside and try to turn all the zombies into crawlers (the Ray Gun makes this easy). There can only be up to 24 zombies out at a time, so when the running ones stop coming you know you've got them all.

After you've made a crawling army, run straight for the spawn point, go the where the mystery box spawns, then aim at the wooden bridge where the Quick Revive is. Wait a bit and you should see 2-3 crawlers. Shoot one at them, this will usually get you 10 or more as there is should be more behind the 2-3 crawlers.

Achievement requires two people

1. restart the game until the box is close (starting place, in front of the lighthouse, in the room under the captain’s cabin)

2. buy the Jagger Fanta perk and turn on the power

3. open the passage to the foot of the lighthouse (AK-74u is sold there)

4. take out the looter from the box (sniper rifle with explosive charge)

5. your partner should be at the foot of the lighthouse and gather the zombies into a pile, and you should be on the upper tier of the ship where the power is turned on) and shoot at a convenient moment, the main thing here is that no one comes up from behind, so be careful

Can be obtained by playing without a partner. get a marauder and preferably upgrade it (the damage radius is larger), I also upgraded the pistol that is given at the beginning, after the upgrade (with its help it is very convenient to make legless crawlers), it shoots explosive cartridges with both hands, but it needs the doctor booms perk (to don't put these pistols down). We make more sliders at the location where AK 74 is sold, run to the lighthouse and go down the rope to the ship and shoot from it at a bunch of sliders, ready.
