Call of Duty: Black Ops

After the many theories, I decided to test them all out myself.
Here's the REAL way to earn the "Vehicular Slaughter" achievement:

- Why not make it easy on yourself? Set difficulty to Recruit.
- Do not worry about any vehicles before the tear gas scene.
- The achievement begins at the motorcycle escape finale.
- Take out all motorcycles and the one truck before crossing the river.

- Once you make it onto the truck with the MG, be sure to take out the one helicopter, all motorcycles and moving trucks. Do not worry about the stationary trucks parked on the side of the road.

- Achievement unlocks mid-jump to train.

Adding to the solutions from mariofan112 and Doominatorx6 this achievement requires you to kill all enemies on vehicles not just those on the chase at the end.

you need to destroy the trucks that come while you are making your way through the compound.

two come when you get the shotgun then the heli which you have to kill, then there are several that come when you get the mini gun.

while on the bike you must kill all the destroyable vehicles in the chase the five bikes then a truck then the last bike as you cross the river

then all the vehicles that come for you while your on the truck including the heli and also the stationary truck on the left with barrels on the back

hope this helps as i had many attempts at the chase missed none but no achievement so did whole level again killed everything and it pops just before you have to jump on train

Spiderbite from NextGenTactics walks you though all the vehicles on Mission #2: "Vorkuta" that require you to destroy to get the achievement. If would suggest watching part of the video then destroying those vehicles and then resuming.

I tried everyone of the solutions that were already on this page and I tried like four times to get the achievo. Every time I tried, using the solutions listed, I failed to hear a bloop bloop. Then I went to youtube and used the achievement hunters guide and it worked first try. You don't need to blow up any trucks before you get on the back of the truck with the MG. I went through the level and only blew up one truck while on foot. The youtube video shows exactly what I am talking about.

The details of getting this achievement is very sketchy. I have tried a few guides and the achievement never popped up. So this is how I did it.

Start the mission on recruit and keep following reznov up unril sergei starts smashing down the arms door. Once you have completed the catapult part, grab a shotgun and head outside.

Once outside kill a guard and take their AK47 and 2 vehicle's will drop off more enemy. Take down the enemy then shoot the trucks until they explode. Then make your way to the next room.

Take down the helicopter with the harpoon and then follow reznov. There are no more vehicle's to destroy until you have the death machine.

Once you have the death machine you will come to a ledge, dont drop down just yet. There is a parked vehicle with an MG on the back, blow it up. Then a vehicle comes from the left, destroy that one and another from the north, destroy that one. I think thats all for now so drop down and continue on your way. Apologies if there is one more, doing this off memory!!

Save your death machine ammo, use your AK to take out the remaining enemies. Another vehicle will appear as you go round the corner so use your death machine to destroy that. Once done you will be about 50 metres from the checkpoint, be careful not to get to the checkpoint or you will miss vehicle's. There are 4 in total so make sure that they are all destroyed before continuing. I stayed about 15 metres from the checkpoint.

Then you come to the bike bit. Shotgun is autoaim so easy enough to take out the bikes, think there is 5. Then the chase is on for the truck with the MG on the back.

Once on the MG take out the remaining vehicle's that are chasing you along with the enemies on bikes, ignore the chopper it can't kill you on recruit and also you dont have to destroy this as part of the achievement, I never.

I think there are 3 or 4 vehicle'a and around 6 bikes to destroy whilst using the MG. Once you catch up to the train and reznov shouts jump the achievement will unlock.

This is really simple because bassically every time you shoot at the motorbikes they die. trucks aren't too difficult. Oh btw make sure when you get on the truck fire at the helicopter then fire like a mad man at the other vehicles. i got this first time round and i wasn't even trying.

Just wanted to clarify,i only fired at and destroyed any vehicle that has dudes on it,or just got off and it seemed to unlock for me,i missed loads of the stationary ones and i did it on recruit just so that they'd xplode a bit easier,sweeet =]

This is actually wrong, you only need to destroy the vehicles once you get on the flatbed truck at the end of the mission. You do not have to destroy every vehicle in this mission.

If this doesn't unlock for you on recruit. Switch the difficulty to regular.
