How to unlock the Close Shave achievement in Call of Duty: World at War - Definitive Guide

Through out the game you will notice that you will be attacked by enemies rushing towards you with there weapon above them or something like that. If they grab hold of you, you will have a chance to push the "Right Thumbstick" in and basically do a counter move. If you save your self from one of these attacks you will unlock this achievement.

To get this achievement i just ran up and stood still infront of a few enemies and atleast one of them should try and get you, then just press the appropriate button and bam, achievement unlocked.

You have to kill a person while they a doing there banzai attack so when they run at you with there bayonet you press the right thumstick down and kill him to get this achievement

Close Shave - Encountered a Banzai attack and lived to tell the tale.

This Trophy / Achievement is fairly easy to unlock. During mission 2: Little Resistance, wait for a banzai enemy to charge you with their bayonet drawn.

When then take you to the ground click the right stick down to counter their attack.

Once they are defeated your Trophy / Achievement should pop! Enjoy!

This one is fairly simple, and can be found in any American mission. Banzai attackers are Japs that come running at you screaming...wait for it...Banzaiiiiiii (who knew). Allow one to push you down, as soon as you see the sign to get him off, hit and you stab him in the neck.

During the America-Japan conflict, you will come across Banzai soldiers. These are the soldiers who shout “BANZAAYYY!!!!” They rush at us armed with the Arizeka Bayonet. The horses will knock you down (almost like the dogs in COD4) and you will have a few seconds to press the right analogue. If you do everything correctly, then move the bayonet away from you and kill the enemy with the knife. After this, the trophy will open.
