If there are no Manhunt games, host one yourself (this also means you avoid lag). Other players will flock to your lobby, but wait around for at least 8 people before you start the match. Magnificent is usually a very popular map.
When/if you become wanted, it may seem a good idea to run and hide and score a point for your team. This won't earn you as much money as if you die quickly and get back into the fray, so you need to decide whether you want to be a team player or make as much money as possible.
