Captain America: Super Soldier

Using the shield deflection against incoming ballistics rounds is a key skill to perfect. Without this skill you will have much difficulty in later levels.

During combat, you will notice a series of yellow lines coming from the side of the screen toward the middle. This is your tactical sense telling you that there is danger coming your way. Pay attention to those queues because they can make or break your success.

Shortly after appearing, the two lines will begin to converge and the ends will turn into long silver-grey diamond shapes. When those two diamonds become one large one, the enemy will fire and you'll likely be hit unless you're in the process of A-buttoning away from their aimpoint!

Just in the moment before the two diamonds become one, tap (dont hold) the Left Bumpert (LB). This will have Cap swat the incoming round with his shield and send it back where it came from. Not only is it good fun, but its also quite a profitable way to generate intel points for combat upgrades.

On a side note... any enemy that uses ballistic weapons can be tricked into firing on their own side... while in combat simply position yourself so that another enemy is between you and the incoming round. The best use of this is when facing Scorchers, but thats a whole another conversation.

You will have ample opportunities in the early stages of the game to get your 25 kills, and in fact, its unlikely that you'll make it past chapter 3 without it so long as you've taken the effort.
