How to unlock the Taming of the Shrew achievement in Captain America: Super Soldier - Definitive Guide

*** SPOILERS AHEAD ***

Please dont read ahead if you dont want to know about the ending of Chapter 10. That said, here we go.

The boss battle at the end of Chapter 10 can be tricky. Here are some pointers to help you through.

Shortly after pursuing Madame Hydra through a long hallway in the Estate, she will hide behind a blast door and Cap will mention that "there has to be another way inside." Immediately to his right is a set of doors that can be opened and he'll enter a small conservatory. Be sure to look around for intel items if you want. In this room, directly across from your entry door, there is a bookcase. Use it to find a secret hallway into the "Trophy Room."

Once inside, there will be a quick scene with Madame Hydra, a Warden, and four melee Grunts. This is the first wave of four where you'll have to fight for your life.

Immediately right of your entry point, you'll find a set of Dueling Pistols. Be sure to pick those up before you leave the area.

If you walk slowy, you can flank the guards and get right up on them for a sneak attack. Good fun and bonus points! Madame Hydra has a good firing position though, so watch out for incoming ballistic warnings and use the LB to deflect them back.

The LB deflect trick will be your best friend in this fight. It is highly recommended that you save your focus bar for later in the fight. Shortly afer you begin your scrap, MH will trap you with some green gas. You cannot enter without taking damage and the enemy will spawn from within. The best thing to do initially is to stand under the balcony that Madame Hydra is using so she cannot engage you and let you take on the individual troops.

After the first wave is clear, you'll have to do sufficient damage to MH so she is taunted down into the fight. LB deflect is a winner here. DO NOT THROW YOUR SHIELD AT HER DURING THIS ENTIRE LEVEL! Its far to valuable and she does too much damage to me left unguarded. Instead, focus on swatting her bullets right back at her. After taking some more damage she'll send a series of un-deflectable rounds your way. I found that the best trick here was to block until she reloaded, then holt the LB and A to charge her position and slam her a good one. Use A to leap back out of her melee range before she recovers. Rinse and repeat until round two.

Round two will feature a pair of wardens, then some foot soldiers. If you have some focus bars, now is a great time to use them. RB+Y to weaponize a warden is a great trick that damages them heavily, but RB+X works just as well. Keep your eyes open for the warning about incoming rounds and be ready to deflect, block, or dodge.

After more of this, MH will retreat to a higher walkway. Again, use LB to deflect her rounds back at her. Timing is key, but with patience and persistence, she will soon fall to your superior skills!

Good luck.
