Below is a full list of fish available to catch. Unlike games like Animal Crossing, all fiish are available at any time, although some are rarer than others. The two rarest to catch are the Bullethead Parrotfish, and the Spotted Eagle Ray.

Here are my final stats of fish caught once I only needed spotted eagle ray(I was selling fish prior to this point). I tried fishing off every coast on the island to make sure it wasn't location specific. Most of the time I was fishing my level was below 25, but I was level 25 when I finally caught the ray(maybe 5th fish caught once I hit level 25.

I have fished and fished and fished using 30 each of the different fish foods and still not finding the spotted eagle ray! It’s driving me insane. Any tips or anything?

Unfortunately, no. The Eagle spotted Ray has no fish food that's more likely to pull it in, and it's very rare. I've caught one in around 400 fish. It also doesn't help that there's a secret limit of being able to catch 99 fish a day, after that, they just stop spawning.

I caught my second one last night, after roughly another 100 fish. I'm still after the bullethead Parrotfish tbh, not seen a single one, and I've been hitting the catch limit every day

Just the Bullethead Parrot fish I need too, had a few sting ray using no food.

There's not one that specifically increases the chance. Best bet is to use normal fish food, to mostly eliminate shoes and stuff to give you a better chance. It's such a pain, Ive been stuck on this fish since the first day it was out

I finally got the parrothead fish. After only fishing with no bait I switched to normal fish food and got one within my 1st 10 catches. I would say good fortune more than anything else.

Does anything extend the time for reeling in or signal when the fish bites? Unfortunately some fish have a relatively instant release and the number of taps on the line before biting seems random.

It's usually 4 or 5 taps. I don't think there's anything that helps with those things tbh

I found this on another forum. This helped with my last few.

Basic Fishfood: Increasing size up to 10% and chance for all fish.
- Eggy Fishfood: Increased size up to 20% and chance to catch: ZEBRA_MORAY_EEL
- Flaky Fishfood: Increase chances to catch: RED_JUVENILE_YELLOWTAIL_WRASSE, RED_SLATE_PENCIL_SEA_URCHIN, RED_WALKING_CRAB
- Arctic Fishfood: Increases chances to catch: ZEBRA_MORAY_EEL, YELLOW_TRUMPET_FISH, STRIPE_SNAPPER, RAINBOW_TROUT
- Flaky Fishfood: ZEBRA_MORAY_EEL
- Soy Fishfood: RED_WALKING_CRAB
- Squid Food: BLUE_FLYING_SQUID
- Big Fishfood: Size increase up to 100%! Also bigger chance to catch: ZEBRA_MORAY_EEL, YELLOW_TRUMPET_FISH, STRIPE_SNAPPER, RAINBOW_TROUT
- Wheat Fishfood: PURPLE_QUEEN
- Worms Fishfood: YELLOW_PUFFERFISH, SOCKEYE_SALMON, STRIPE_SNAPPER, RAINBOW_TROUT
