How to unlock the Bone Cold Justice achievement in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair - Definitive Guide
Another solution that works for any character:
When an enemy skeleton throws a bone at you, normally if you strike it with your weapon it'll just disintegrate. However, if you hit it right after it leaves his hand, it will deflect back at him or whatever is behind him.
On the first stage, there's a room with two small swinging pendulums, fairly close to the boss area. On the bottom of this room are 4 skeletons. When the first one throws a bone, smack it with something, it'll kill something behind him, achievement get.

I highly recommend using Jonathan. When you near a group of enemies with a skeleton, stand close to skeleton and hold down X and move the left analog to flail your whip doing little damage to skeleton but knocking his bone into another enemy. Way easier than trying to time your attacks IMO.

Would all be fine tips if I could get past the gold wall leading to the rest of the level...

If you are going solely for this achievement the earliest i've noticed you can get this is on the first stage right at the beginning.
After you start, move right into the next room and jump on the moving platform to go up. Keep jumping up into the next room and you will see a skeleton on the right and left. Hop over to the left.
Here you will want to jump and hit a bone in mid air which will make it fly back and hit another skeleton in the rear. For this i used alucard but im sure you can use any character as long as you time it right.

I got this trophy naturally during Chapter 1. You need to hit a Skeleton's bone while in the air so it deflects back at the Skeleton and destroys it (or another enemy). The bone must be hit while it is going up into the air. If the bone is coming down to the ground, it will destroy the bone rather than deflect it.

The trophy can also be obtained by killing an enemy using a summoned skeleton from Charlotte or Soma.

A bone thrown by a skeleton can only be returned at the beginning of the throw, so it is often easier to return it to another enemy, because you'll most likely kill the bone-throwing skeleton.
