How to unlock the Slick Kick achievement in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair - Definitive Guide

You can do this in either single player or multiplayer.
i found it easier in single player.
play through the first chapter until you get to Gergoth (the boss) then attack him until he falls down.
then start attacking his feet.
if you do so his leg guards will fall off and make him twice as vulnerable as his head is. (if you did 2 damage to his feet first and 4 to his head then you will do 8 in damage to his unprotected feet)
then it's sliding time!
much easier since you take more damage on Gergoth when sliding if you have removed the leg guards!
--------------------------------------------------------
You will also do more damage with the Spiked Boots equipped.
thanks to JedMart for the tip about Spiked Boots!
--------------------------------------------------------
also.. to slide hold down and press A.

Voted up; the combination of breaking the legguards and using spiked boots really helped. Thanks Crow!

Another thing you can add is that you'll do even a little more damage if you have the Spiked Boots equipped. Nice find on breaking his leg guards though, I never knew about that.

If playing in co-op, the "Slick Kick" achievement can only be unlocked by the host.

The easiest is Chapter 1 boss. You can damage the boss any way you want, but the attack that kills it must be a slide. Damage the legs until the armor around his legs breaks. Hit him a few more times until he's low on HP but don't actually kill him. Now keep sliding into his legs until he's dead. It's advisable to have a decent defense stat while doing this to prevent death.

It's best to do it in the first stage on normal difficulty. having received good equipment. when the boss falls to the bottom, hit him several times and start hitting him with tackles (down ) if there are not enough lives, take Potions with you.

I tackled the boss 7 times, maybe 10 at most, hit him at the end of the fight and they gave me the trophy. Before the tackles, I beat him in the usual ways. The feeling when he is about to be defeated should be developed after several fights with him. I suppose that to get this trophy it is enough to hit him with a tackle once, the main thing is that it is fatal.
