In chapter 13-2, where you fight against some enemies with Laura in a small room (about 5 minutes into the video), you should press the Y-button until the charge attack is automatically released. In the video, the attack is used a few times, but not at full potential. The fully charged attack will do 450 damage and instantly kill any enemy. Repeating the charge attack may eventually wipe out all enemies without much effort as they crawl out of their holes within the first minute. The Y-button should already be pressed maybe 1-2 seconds after you entered the room (before any enemies have arrived) to be at max charge when they appear. The best position is obviously the middle of the room.
