I found this to be actually easy, as there's hardly anything to miss here and the music is at least having a beat almost all the time (just like all the other levels should have been).
Thus, I got my hierophant here just out of luck.

Child of EdenSecret AchievementThe Secret Achievement achievement in Child of Eden worth 296 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement

The most difficult part is to find a beat in the beginning. take your time, as the first splitting takes 4 x 8 hits.
Then focus on the right side, to fire away on the orange globe some more. You can get at least to multiplier x6 here, but take care of the missiles (2x 1 ring per collision).

Hammering Structures part:
Now, this one is very easy. You get 3x4 small fry that comes in sets of four, try to tie that up. The cog gates give you a multiplier.
4 small, tie with one of the cogs (4HP each). bird, bird, first tower cog + second tower cog, 4 small (with the second tower cog), bird, bird, third tower cogs, 2x 4 small, gate.
bird, bird, cog-pair, cog-pair, bird, bird, bird, bird.

Part-gate - stay in one spot and let the markers come to you. (purple, thus RT)

Mirrored City part:
4, 4, 6, then a slow 8. There's a gate with 4 HP on each side coming down. 8, gate, and 16 inbetween, gate, 8
another Part-gate - (orange, thus B), again, stay in one spot and charge.

Running Men part:
Two suns colliding. 3 rocket circles in total. You have time for a full charge in the very beginning - on the orange one, of course.
Concentrate on the orange dude first. Full charges. Gives you lots of time. Camera pans once 360, then the purple one jumps.
Orange dies quickly.
Then just RT away on the purple one.
Rocket waves are slow and easy to trace down. Take care of them immediately (you have about 5 seconds before they hit you, regardless of their distance to you!)

Elevator Tunnel part:
Train to the right: 4x full charge
Train to the left: 4x full charge
Small planes (first circle of 8 has 2HP each - do two circles)
4 smalle planes that shoot 3 missiles each at you (4HP - keep on two until charge is full)
Rockets: the first segment is only 4hit per rocket. mark one, wait a bit for the other one. You have enough time for five total charges this way.
Part gate is purple again, stay once more in one spot and let the markers come to you.

Sat Dishes part:
4 orange, 4 purple, 8 purple, euphoria, 4o+4p!+4o (full charge, take purple out first), 4o, 8p, 8o, 8o, 8p, health, 4o+4p+4p+4o+4o (tie the last two sets), 4p, 4o, health, 4p, 4o, 8p, 8p, 8o, 8p, 8o.

Space Station part:
Here, the colours may be swapped at times, so I won't tally it down.
Rule of thumb, be quick. Tie up eights, if you don't have enough orange but some purples, tie those up, too, for a full charge.
You usually have enough time to take care of everything, unless you are exceptionally tardy. The remaining shine bar on each field tells you when it will turn into a rocket.
It is very well doable without euphoria and you shouldn't use one, as it gives you a penalty of 50k, which you might need in the end.

Boss Battle:
now here's a tough one.
If you climbed past the 700k with the Space Station part, which is easily doable, just hammer away B on the orange one and take care of any and every missile. You shouldn't have been hit until here, so you can decide to sit out four missile waves, fully ignoring them, more than enough to take care of the boss on normal.
Some of the missile patterns are outrageously complex, but with a bit of luck, they're doable.
If you, for some reason, didn't reach 700k prior to the boss or used an euphoria, then you have to grind the orange one for a few chains, which is doable.
Keep an eye (if that's possible) on the clock below - it shows how long the colour phase will still last and decide accordingly, whether you want to try and nail the orange one or take care of missiles instead. Try not to damage the purple one if you're still short of points, since both share the same HP bar.

Good luck.
800k on normal and hierophant should be doable like this.

For it's stratospheric TA ratio, this achievement isn't actually all that hard if you've got the hang of the game's mechanics. By the time you're trying to get it, you've probably already played the level at least a couple of times, and that's a good thing.

The key is maintaining that x8 multiplier that comes from perfect octa-locks. That is, lock onto 8 enemies (your reticule will turn white), and then release the button *on the beat of the music*. Each time you do this, your multiplier will increase by one (and you'll get a PERFECT! caption), up to a maximum of x8. Note that this multiplier is only applied when you kill enemies *with another octa-lock*. Killing enemies with anything less than an octa-lock will score regular un-multiplied points.

Also note that your multiplier resets if you fail to release the button to the beat ONLY when you have an octa-lock. So feel free to spam the A button if you get overwhelmed occasionally, but try and keep it to a minimum, as you'll be scoring less for each kill that way.

So your goal should be to kill as much as possible with perfect octa-locks. You can miss a few, and reset your multiplier once or twice, and you'll probably still make enough points.

HINTS:

(*) TAP YOUR FOOT TO THE BEAT - seriously. Do it. Nod your head to the beat too. You need to be aware of where that beat is at all times to maintain the x8 multiplier. Don't be afraid to hold the lock-on for another bar or so to make sure you release it on the beat. Especially on Normal difficulty, you usually have time to make sure it's perfect. If you can, turn the volume up too - it'll help you 'get into the zone'.

(*) DO NOT USE EUPHORIA - if you finish the level without having used any of your euphoria (your smart bombs), you'll get a bonus of 100k points. This was what tipped me over the 800k boundary. It's much more challenging to get this achievement without that bonus. I'm not sure if you get this bonus if you don't collect all of the extra euphoria items, so make sure to grab them.

(*) LEARN THE ENEMIES - once you've played the level a few times, you should have an idea of how many hits each enemy takes, so you can plan how to lock onto them so that you consistently get octa-locks.

(*) OCTA-LOCK THE HELL OUT OF THE BOSSES - pretty much every shot you make against a boss should be an octa-lock. Especially on Normal difficulty, most of the bosses are not that challenging, and you have time to get octa-lock after octa-lock. Without doing this, you're unlikely to get enough points.

(*) DON'T PANIC - Even if there's missiles coming at you that require you be using your tracer instead of locking-on, make sure you release that octa-lock on the beat before switching to tracer fire, or release the button before you get 8 things locked.

(*) DON'T WORRY IF YOU MISS A FEW ENEMIES - unless you're going for the 100% purification achievements at the same time, or the Gold Star achievements, it's fine if a couple of enemies escape off screen. It's more important to maintain your multiplier.

Here's my guide for gold stars, which is 800k and 100%. This is the version with commentary, explaining what I'm doing and generally why I'm doing it. I've also uploaded versions without commentary, which should be linked on the video page.

The most important thing to remember is to keep your perfect multiplier going! The multiplier only counts for octa-locks, meaning you'll get minimal points for spamming. For gold stars, you'll want a combination of octalocks and spamming, but if you're not going for gold stars, it's best to always try octalocks, even if the enemy is about to get away. Your purification percentage takes the hit, but you get a few more points out of it.

Passion's probably the hardest to deal with. Get a x8 multiplier off the cores in the very beginning, it'll help boost early. The satellite will probably take the most practice to master; if you take too long, it starts shooting at you and you lose the 100%. If you're going for gold stars, take time to line up octalocks, but if you take long, you may want to spam. Getting that sense of timing just takes practice, unfortunately.

For the boss battle, chances are you won't be up to snuff on points. Only octalock the orange core and don't fire on the purple to prolong the battle. Because of this, you'll need to be very good shooting the patterns down.

Also, if you're having trouble with octalocks, turn down the sound effects in the main menu. I dropped it to about 20% and the beat was very clear for me.

This is are excellent guide for this level, for the Gold Star (100% + 800k) rank you definitely need some practice, but you can get the 800k in a few tries. Just follow the video, this is very detailed and useful guide.

This level required some practice and several tries. The whole level is quite easy, but the boss in the end are tough.

Also, you should know how to make octa-locks (perfect 8x hit in the rhythm of music), without octalocks you do not succeed.
And, you should get and save 3 euphoria at the end of the level - this gives you 100k. Without this bonus get this achievement will be much harder.
Again, just follow the video and don't forget about gathering and saving euphoria and, of course, octalocks.
