How to unlock the Hot Shot achievement in Child of Eden - Definitive Guide

To get a Perfect Octa-lock, first you must use your lock-on laser and lock on to 8 targets. More importantly, though, you must *find the beat*. Release your lock-on laser in time with the music to get a perfect. If you only get "good", then your timing is close but not-quite-right. I had much greater success getting octa-locks if I found the beat early in the level and tapped my foot with it. Release your A button as your foot hits the ground and bam perfect!

You'll get this naturally, time the release of oct-locks (locking onto 8 enemies/parts at once) with the beat of the music to get a perfect octa-lock.

Just make perfect octa grabs and the trophy will unlock halfway through the game.

for one dive in any vault you can knock out 20-30 or more perfect grabs, the main thing is to learn how to do them correctly: see the Feel The Beat trophy.
