Child of Eden

This guide is intended for 100% and all items, not gold stars or high score. Simply spam on a controller or, if you have the wrist flick down, it's possible to spam that on Kinect as well.

Before you start, go into Menu, Options, HUD, and turn all information on. This lets you see what your purification rate is for a given area.

Do not use any bombs until the seventh area! That is when you're likely to need them.

FIRST AREA
Say hello to the Force Cores! The only reason to shoot them after they split is for points; it's impossible not to get 100% here. Focus on shooting down bullets.

SECOND AREA
Three groups of 4 gears fly in, the last of which is carrying the first Health Orb (1). The gear gate in front of you should flash; shoot all red lights to open the gate.

Another group of four gears; by the time they're purified, two clockwork gears in the upper left corner should flash. Both of these take four hits each. To the right of those gears come two flyers. They take eight hits each and if not defeated fast enough will release bullets. The second one drops the first Euphoria Orb (2). Just past the second flyer, another set of two clockwork gears flash.

A group of four gears shoots past from the bottom left corner, followed by two flyers straight ahead, plus two more clockwork gears flashing! As you approach the gate, another group of four gears appears on the left, then another group on the right. Purify the second gate.

Two flyers, one coming from the left and the other from the right, meet in the center; the one from the left is carrying another Health Orb (3). Four clockwork gears flash in the meanwhile on the right. Two more flyers drop down from the top, then another two from the sides.

The gate needs to be opened with the purple tracer shots.

THIRD AREA
Four glitch enemies on the bottom, then another group takes its place. A group of six scrolls on, the last glitch carrying another Health Orb (4).

A group of eight glitches pop up one by one, followed by a red laser gate. Target the red lights on the sides, it takes eight hits total to bring down the gate. Right behind it is another eight glitches coming in from the sides, one of which is carrying a Health Orb (5).

Just past this is another red laser gate. Past that, another six glitches show up on the sides of the screen before another eight take up the center. One last laser gate and another eight glitches slowly working their way on-screen and you're done!

Unlike the last gate, this one is unlocked by the lock-on laser.

FOURTH AREA
Shooting the cores at first just gets score, so focus on the bullets. When they transform into humans, then unload on them. Focus on the purple human first so you can shoot down bullets at the same time, then spam the orange human. If you take too long, the area will end before you get to 100%.

FIFTH AREA
A train will appear on your right with four cars. Each car opens up to show eight gears, so move quickly or you'll be left behind! Another train exactly like this one shows up on the left.

A group of eight race cars will spiral past you, the last of which carrying a Health Orb (6). Next comes a group of four biplanes from the right, taking several hits each. If you don't destroy them fast enough, they fire bullets.

You'll hear the rockets before you see them; the first comes in from the left, the second from the top, and they spiral slowly on the course. Take out the four engines, then the main booster. The first rocket drops a Health Orb (7).

This last gate is all purple tracer.

SIXTH AREA
For convenience, I'll be referring to the enemies here as images. Purple images need to be shot with the tracer. If a part is shining, it's about to fire a bullet. These will be listed either by screen position or relative to the previous image and how many parts it has to be purified..

SEVENTH AREA
This wireframe is where you should save the bombs for. If you take too long to purify the patterns, any part left will turn into a bullet and you will have missed 100%. If you feel like you're taking a little too long, hit the bomb. If any bullet comes out during this part, you have not hit 100% and need to restart.

FIRST SET
1) Right wing. Two lines of four on the top and bottom, then eight in the center.
2) Left wing. All purple objects. A square of four, then four on the corners, four on their corners, and finally a large square of twelve.
3) Right wing. Four sets of moving purple horizontal lines.
4) Left wing. Two long orange lines circling the wing counterclockwise, two smaller horizontal lines in the center moving to the sides.
5) Right wing. Two orange lines on the top and bottom making elongated V shapes. You'll have a cutscene after this one.

SECOND SET
1) Right wing. Six vertical lines. The bottom three are orange, the top three are purple.
2) Right wing. Two corners of six objects each, twelve in the center moving back and forth.

The wings are rotating now, so they're now referred to same or opposite wing.

3) Opposite wing. Eight orange objects fall down the wing then rush up the side, followed by six purple and another six orange.
4) Opposite wing. Two purple squares of four parts each, then another one appears between them as two orange lines snake around and come to the center.
5) Both wings. Two orange C shapes close to each other of eight parts each, then both shapes are surrounded by six purple objects each. Another cutscene!

THIRD SET
1) Left wing. All purple objects. Individual objects moving up and down the wing.
2) Same wing. Four lines begin intercrossed. The orange lines move away, the purple lines stay in the center. Another two orange lines appear stationary at each end.
3) Both wings. Three lines appearing on each wing, three, five, and seven parts long. The bottom wing has two purple lines and one orange, the top wing has two orange and one purple.
4) Top wing. Two lines, one orange and one purple, on both sides of the wing. After a brief pause, the purple lines move back and forth across the wing.
5) Both wings. Two lines circle the wings, the top wing has purple circling clockwise, the bottom has orange counterclockwise. Then another orange line appears on the top wing and a purple line on the bottom wing.

This is are excellent guide for this level, for the Gold Star (100% + 800k) rank you definitely need some practice, but you can get the 100% on your first try. Just follow the video, this is very detailed and useful guide.
