How to unlock the The Skills That Pay The Bills achievement in Child of Eden - Definitive Guide

Play the Journey Archive and make your way to the Boss, it is extremely easy to achieve 10 consecutive Octa-Locks on him. When the three Red Dragon Things fly around, just keep locking on and firing right in the middle of your screen, there are so many individual parts to target that you can easily get up to 15 or 20 Oca-Locks without even moving your Crosshair

First, perfect getting octa-locks by locking on to the max 8 targets and firing your shot in time with the beat. Find the beat early and you'll be chaining octa-locks in no time. I had best success chaining by doing a 4 count beat, and picking a number to fire on after I got my locks. Works best on bosses or end of level where you're wailing on a stationary target...I got mine near the end of the Matrix level. Good luck!

I have already played through the first three levels and I had no idea that a perfect depended on the timing of the beat. Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Doing Octa-locks on bosses is definitely the way to go.

You'll get this naturally, time the release of oct-locks (locking onto 8 enemies/parts at once) with the beat of the music to get a perfect octa-lock. You must get 10 in a row without messing up.

This prize can only be obtained with Move and control mode A must be turned on.

In this mode, with the move you need to select the required number of targets, they are just “locked”, and then sharply drive towards the move. The more targets you select, the brighter and bolder your sight becomes, at some point it stops tracking targets, and at this moment you need to pull the move in the direction. If everything is ok, you will see the message Perfect and so on 10 times in a row. It was easiest for me to get in the second world.

The game supports both the Move controller and the regular DualShock, so this trophy can be taken without the Move. Clamp , capture eight targets and release at the right moment, falling into the rhythm of the music. Ten times in a row - and the trophy is yours.

You can get this trophy in absolutely any world and on any difficulty, but if your hands are not yet full, then it is better to study for future knockouts for gold stars and at the same time take the trophy on normal, since here the enemies are not so tenacious and do not attack as actively.

The Matrix storage is the best place to get this trophy, especially if you have just started playing. There are practically no enemy attacks here. You just need to move the cursor over 8 particles (press the joystick , just move the cursor over the move) and when the cursor gets fat and becomes bright, indicating that you are ready to hit, hit at the moment of the beat of the music (joystick - release the button , press “T” on the move). As said above, if the attack is successful, the inscription Perfect will appear, do this 10 times.

In the Evolution vault, the most luxurious place to get a trophy is the battle with the final boss, the Firebird.

In the "Beauty" vault - a boss battle with the Lotus flower.

The Passion Vault is generally very balanced throughout the level and has a lot to grab.

The “Adventure” storage is simply created for octa-captures, it’s as easy as shelling pears to do during the battle with the Lotus flower in the second segment of the level (make captures on the opened core of the flower when it becomes bright, and when it closes, fight off the appearing petals and attacks with the tracer), and in at the end of the challenge, when you clear the core and there will be a lot of small fish flying around.
