How to unlock the Time Becomes A Loop achievement in Child of Eden - Definitive Guide

Really simple to be honest, if u have turtle beachs or any other headsets would be really helpful, if not what i did was nod my head to the beat, then on every second nod, use an octolock, as hard mode isn't that much different to normal, only difference is that enemies shoot more and double damage inflicted. (using your purple tracer does not decreas your score multiplier. hope this helps, add my gamertag if you need any help :)

Here's my guide for gold stars, which is 800k and 100%. This is the version with commentary, explaining what I'm doing and generally why I'm doing it. I've also uploaded versions without commentary, which should be linked on the video page.

On Hard, more enemies fire bullets at you, and they deal double damage. However, the silver lining for Matrix is that if you're able to get gold stars on Matrix Normal, the exact same strategy applies to Matrix Hard, with the only difference being shooting down more bullets.

The most important thing to remember is to keep your perfect multiplier going! The multiplier only counts for octa-locks, meaning you'll get minimal points for spamming. For gold stars, you'll want a combination of octalocks and spamming, but if you're not going for gold stars, it's best to always try octalocks, even if the enemy is about to get away. Your purification percentage takes the hit, but you get a few more points out of it.

If you can purify the music box and move onto the scrolling boxes with 400k and all three euphoria for the 100k bonus at the end, you'll have more than enough opportunity to clean up the remaining 300k.

Also, if you're having trouble with octalocks, turn down the sound effects in the main menu. I dropped it to about 20% and the beat was very clear for me.

This is where it starts to get crazy, again I will be referencing these trophies as getting 100% and over 800,000 points for the GOLD STAR. Matrix has its easy sections which are more or less the same as normal but areas 2, 4 and 5 can be frustrating. In area 2 make sure you get all the yellow fish (spam + on them) to ensure you get them all. Area 4 requires you to be very fast to get all the targets, you shouldn't bother octa-locking multiple enemies in this area because you'll likely miss them or mess up your combo. I used a Euphoria in area 4 against the moving red fish. In area 5 you MUST be very quick to eliminate all the enemies (do not focus on destroying the orbs) in order to get the 2 squid-like creatures to spawn when the final orb opens up. If only 1 squid spawns you have messed up.
