How to unlock the Most Curious achievement in Children of Morta - Definitive Guide
Puzzle events appear randomly behind blue barriers. Complete the puzzle within these puzzle rooms to add one to the count. As far as I could remember, the following all count towards the achievements:
1. Room with four buttons on the floor
You'd need to step on the buttons in the correct sequence. The numbers are random. If you step on a wrong button, enemies appear. Since there are only four buttons, you should be able to guess the correct sequence with some trial and error.
Update: Darth Hawk CZ commented that there is actually a sequence to this room. When you step on a button and if it's room, the buttons light up. You can see the symbols, and can then follow the sequence stated in this picture: https://ibb.co/gFn0GMy - I suppose you've got to be very fast to observe all the symbols though.
2. Room with three buttons on the floor
A game of chance. You simply have to step on the one correct button to win this. As far as I know, this is random. There are some theories about if this room appears in certain maps, the answer is fixed, but I haven't actually found an actual, comprehensive list for this. Even the narrator says that this is a game of chance when you enter the room, so I'm inclined to think that this is basically RNG.
3. Room with Pong
You'll control a peg to bounce a ball against another peg. Hit the opponents five times to win this. You've three lives. Don't die.
So, basically just win the above random puzzle events when you encounter them for 20 times, and you'll unlock the achievement.

I guess you are wrong with the 1. Room with four buttons on the floor. Three times now, a sequence worked for me. When you step on the stones in wrong order, they light up and you can see the symbols. Use THIS picture for correct order of symbols.

I believe there are only three types of encounters that count toward this achievement. The first is a complete game of chance: step on one of three buttons and hope you're right to get the prize. The second is a game of chance and memory: step on a button and if it lights up, you're on the right track - otherwise you'll fight some monsters - keep trying until you get the sequence correct. The third is a game of Pong: hit the other paddle five times to win.
Once you do any combination of these three rooms a total of 20 times the achievement will unlock.
