hello friends, I had a lot of work to find out how to achieve this achievement, so I decided to make a video to try to help ... I played in the second area in the first phase 2-1 ... but what nobody talks about is that character that you need to save it is in one of those challenges where you need to survive 3 waves of enemies !! it will be stuck behind bars instead of some item !! you may have to play phase 2-2, but it will always be in a wave mode ... if it doesn't appear for you, go back to the house and choose the phase again, alternate between 2-1 and 2- 2 until the wave you need appears .. good luck !!!toast

This fellow is found on one of the wave rooms in the second area. I personally found him on 2-2 but I believe he can be found in any of the three levels in the second area.

The runemender is more rare than the shopkeeper and will show up in any of the Barahut locations. Saving him is the same as the shopkeeper, and will add him to the shop encounters. You can pay him to refill the meter on any equipped runes.

I had difficulty getting this trophy. I completed the game, knocked out all the other trophies, but still didn’t free the rune master. Then I ran around looking for it, and eventually found it in location 2/2 Ziggurat on the 4th tier in the room with the test.
