The Krell Guardian will be the first Boss you'll encounter in the game, although is quite simple his attack pattern playing on Heroic can be a breeze if you decide to grind a little to level up beforehand,

TL;DR,
Increase your Agility or Strength (depending on if you chose a Sword or an Axe respectively) as high as possible depending on which playthrough you are trying to do (Under 21 age, or Heroic run).
