How to unlock the Draw Out the Ichor achievement in Clash of the Titans - Definitive Guide
In the Underworld after the River Styx, you'll have to fight 3 bosses for 3 keys to get into Medusa's Lair.
The Cyclops boss when defeated drops the Cyclopeon Maul and Hammer with a critical bonus when used. When used on Giant Statues it destroys their heads in one hit.
In Medusa's Lair, go left all the way to get to basement 2. Now walk forward util you get to a room with a horse head trap and 2 exits, one to basement 3 and one to a room with 3 Giant Statues in, 2 normal and 1 golden. Normal statues take 1 hit, golden will take 5. Go out and back in to make them respawn.
There are also Giant Statues on the last level and plenty more in Medusa's Lair. So you can return post game to mop up as you'll get atleast another 10 just by finishing the game. Took me 2 mop ups post game

The giant statues are first encountered right at the beginning of chapter 2, they will also be encountered later on in the game and through other challenge quests. You need to attack them in a specific way to knock their heads off. DOING A SUB-WEAPON SEIZE DOES NOT COUNT!
You need to attack them with a hammer. If you hit them a few times then their head should break off, quite simple. The hammer I used was the ‘Capricorn’ or the ‘Cyclopean Maul’, see ‘The Weapons of Hecatoncheir’ trophy below for more information on the weapons location.
Only the women statues work for this, the men statues are too strong and they will just die if you hit them too many times.

I got the trophy by hitting tall statues with a hammer, in theory you need to blow off the head of a statue with a simple weapon, and not during a QTE, in this sense a hammer is simply necessary.
