This version of the game has a stage select code.

At the title screen, press and hold

and the

(default). While holding these buttons, press

and immediately hold

. If done correctly, the stage select screen should appear.

Just pick the final stage and abuse the save state feature if you need to.

Is this in the Japanese section of the main menu or the Famicom version that appears in the English section? Asking because I can't get this to work. Thanks

Just got it to work. I realized instead of tapping "Start" (can't get the button emojis to work on mobile), I was holding Up, Left, B, "Start", and "Select". You want to hold Up, Left, and B, tap and release "Start", and immediately hold "Select" (while still holding Up, Left, and B).
