How to unlock the Sweet Justice achievement in Costume Quest - Definitive Guide

I can't imagine someone having troubles beating the boss, but if you are I have a gold combination of Costumes and Battle Stamps.

Costume 1: Robot with the High Damage Counter-Attack stamp
Costume 2: Space Trooper with the High Damage on Critical Hits stamp
Costume 3: Statue of Liberty with the normal Counter-Attack stamp

The pro's of this setup is that 2 of your party members can counter-attack ( after a successful block ) which gives almost as much damage as a regular attack and the other one has a high chance of doing massive damage. When your Super Attack is loaded you use them all 3 in a row. The robot missiles do great damage and so does the space trooper's special attack. The statue of Liberty's special attack heals all party members. This is a gold combination, I defeated the boss with all 3 party members intact.

You could also use the Vampire or the Pumpkin head instead of the Robot or Space Trooper. As long as you select 2 costumes with high damage special attacks, and 1 costume with healing abilities. The unicorn also heals, but only 1 party member while the Statue of Liberty heals all 3.

Basically this is a High damage setup with healing capabilities.

good luck

Note: Great tip by Quarantane that The vampire is a good substitute for the Statue of Liberty since he does great damage and has healing abilities.

Don’t listen to quarantane. Use Statue of Liberty. Vampire does not heal.

I would suggest vampire over Statue, seeing as his does decent damage AND heals all party members.

You'll get this right away when you defeat the last boss. He's not hard, but you do need to make sure your ready to block his attacks.

I'm not quite convinced there is a magical combo of costumes that are super effective against him since this game is fairly strait forward and simple but I got it on my first try with the robot, the pumpkin and the star trooper one. The extra damage and dodge stamps are awesome against him since if the dodge kicks in on the one he attacks it stops the splash damage as well.

Alternate good costumes to use are the unicorn that can revive allies with the build-up attack and the statue of liberty that has an awesome boost/heal build-up attack that affects all 3 of the kids.

The vampire is actually (in my opinion) alot better than the Statue of Liberty, because the vampires special attack not only fully heals allies, it also does damage to all enemies.

I used the vampire, space warrior, and robot.

Heres a video on how you can beat the final boss for those who work better with video versions of guide. This formation worked pretty well for me hope it works well for who reads this.

You should be level 10 before attempting this. If you're still level 9, go back and level up in the mall or the corn maze. It won't take long.

Use the vampire and the statue of liberty costumes on two party members. Their special attacks will heal the entire party. As for the stamps, dodge and counterattack both work well!

There are 3 areas to the game. This should be the last trophy that you get in the game unless you want to go through another playthrough. Go through the corn field maze to get to the final boss. Below I'll tell you who that boss is and how to defeat him because it's the hardest fight in the game.

Big bones is your final boss and he's, well, HUGE! He hits hard and he hits multiple party members at the same time. I beat him way under leveled but it was a pain in the butt so I suggest that you go into this fight at level 10 or higher because any lower than that and you'll get pretty frustrated. The following is the strategy I used with an under leveled party so works even better if you're at level 10.

You should have the pumpkin, ninja and Statue of Liberty in your party. If any of these 3 are absolutely essential I would say it's the pumpkin. The pumpkin's special ability does massive damage to big Bones and not having that extra damage can make or break the battle.

Big bones has the same attack strategy throughout the entire fight. He has 2 attacks in his first form. One is he swipes you with his scythe hitting the entire party and the other is a really powerful attack aimed at one member. Every 3 turns he will use his powerful attack. Before he uses this attack you should use the ninja's special ability to protect the party member with the lowest HP at the time. After his powerful attack that's when you use the Statue of Liberty's anthem ability to heal the entire party. Rinse and repeat this process until you reach his second form.

Once he gets down to 1000 HP he'll eat more candy and he'll have one attack. His attack is an attack that targets one member and it's just as powerful as his most powerful attack from last form. Some party members could die while fighting him in this form but keep doing the same strategy as before and you should outlast him.

Once you defeat him you'll unlock your trophy.

Complete the entire game. I advise you to prepare for the final battle. And it's best to put a unicorn costume on one of the characters. And don’t forget about combat brands that improve the characters’ abilities.
