Welcome to my "Hole in One" Achievement Guide. For this you have to throw an enemy into the sink hole, which is located after the second Alien pipe thingy on the way to the third pipe, during the mission "Dark Heart". Once there you need to grab an enemy, jump down near the hole and chuck them down it. If you mess up just get yourself killed and restart the save. I hope this helps. This is tricky and may take a couple of attempts. Cheers!

great guide - grab an enemy by holding down 'X' and yep you can do it on recruit

Just a note. You don't need to get them directly in the hole, they can hit the ground around it and go into the hole and it will count. I think that the water may drag bodies into the hole, either that or the momentum from the throw bounces them into the hole.

I dropped down to the edge of the sinkhole and an alien on the other side of it came straight for me and fell in. I still got the achievement for it without grabbing or throwing anyone!

An even easier way is to have an alien chase you to the sink hole, grab him near the edge and fall right in with him. You live by doing this and you get the achievement. Note that the sink holes are after you have destroyed 2 of the 3 Spore Conduit tasks, in the Heart of the Darkness chapter.

First make sure you're on the mission 'Dark Heart'. During this mission you'll be given the objective of sabotaging some CEPH equipment. Once you start heading to the 3rd one, you'll come to a little area with the objective on your left and the sinkhole to the right, down below.

All you need to do is grab (hold at target) and throw (press ) them down the hole.
