How to unlock the Maximum Module achievement in Crysis 2 - Definitive Guide

Suit Modules are equip-able suit plugins in the multiplayer. Each module has an assessment challenge associated with it. Progress towards these challenges can be viewed either under the Assessments menu of the Operative Status menu or while viewing the module while modifying a custom class.

These assessment challenges have 2 levels. After each level is completed, the module levels up and gains new bonuses. Most of these challenges involve using the bonus given by the particular module, such as getting hip fire kills while using Point Fire Enhance. Complete both assessment levels for one of these modules to get the achievement.

NOTE: Retriever challenge's description is wrong. It lists progress gained by getting kills with it equipped. What you actually have to do is get kill streak bonuses (thing things you hit right on the d-pad to activate) while it is equipped. Fix'd!

Your end note is no longer the case, it's simply get kills with Retriever equipped.

The one i thought was eays to level upp is the Covert Ops, it only needs 350 kills and any kills you get with in 25meters builds up the challenge.

I used Jammer under stealth modules. That also requires 350 kills but it does have to be within 10 meters.

Just boost the ground pound kills, you only need 150!!!!!!

I would personally avoid the ground pound kills. I fell for the number trap, but the kills are so glitchy you'd be better off using the jammer and getting kills quicker. (3min vs 8 min games, with 3 players/2alts. Would be faster with 6 real players)

For road rage, the burning/burnt cars don't work.

You have to fully complete one of the suit module challenges. I used the 'Weapon Pro' module which is basically faster reloading. It is in the third module slot and is a power module.
Get 500 kills using this module and the achievement unlocks and gets you a nice 5000xp bonus.

Hey guys; as described a Suit module is a 'perk' in which you can choose when you are customizing your classes.

If your wanting to get this legit, and done pretty fast, then i found the most easy way for me personally is to go for the "Armor Enhance" module.

This module needs 350 kills to go to level 3 and net you this achievement, i went on instant action (free for all) and as soon as i spawned just toggled armor on and every kill i got whether grenade, pistol or gun counts towards this. On average i got around 18 kills a match, so around 20 matches it'll take, maybe a few more cause everyone has their off games. However, if your not in a rush to get it then i hope this solution helps.

Also, just incase this may help someone i used:
Primary - K-Volt
Secondary - Majestic (exceptionally good - 3 hit kills + rapid fire#2 makes this an amazing gun)
Frag Grenade
Armor Module:Armor Enhance
Stealth Module:Tracker
Power Module:Rapid Fire

I really hope this helps and if you can instead of negative voting please tell me what i've done wrong and what i can adjust to make this better.

Thanks and i hope this helps!

for some reason when i go into armor with LB for kills they dont count, the one for stealth in the last 8 seconds counts accurately, but i get 25 kills a match boosting and like 3 count for the armor enhance challenge

Thanks 2 spit, rae, wayne, xtreme, orichi, elite, artic & many more who helped the team test & determine the best method to get this achievement.
Please vote negative only if the solution is incorrect or wrong, not because you think it dilutes an awesome MP game. Because organizing a boosting session & keeping randoms out is a huge task. Plus boosting this takes time & can be boring, so not many would take this route. This is solution is only for dedicated gamerscore hunters who do not have the time or perhaps the interest to grind through the actual game mode and this is what sites like TA is designed for. If you want to boost this achievement please read on, and if you don't agree then please stay out of TA.

Minimum 6 players
Game mode: Crash Site (because of duration 15mins per round)
Optional modes: Pro (minimum of rank 39 to enter game for randoms)
Choose small maps like City Hall

Boosting Technique:
Choose a team to do nothing but shoot. other team does nothing but run and get killed.
Rinse & repeat when round ends.
This is also an excellent game mode to get the "Cry Spy" achievement, when you team is killing the opposing team.
Average kills per round ~25-30 kills per player if the teams are balanced & the opposing team goes all out to get killed.

Module of choice: Aim Assist (Power Module) as it only requires 350 kills and you get it as an early unlock.

While all of the solutions are good, they are not efficient for those of us 100% boosting this game now, at this present time of post server shut down.

This is the set up that you need:

Minimum 6 players

Game mode: Crash Site or Instant Action

Try to get the "Pro" mode, because there is almost a 0% chance to get randoms in that one (they need to be above level 39 to get in, and you boosters can be any level, as long as your lobby leader is level 39 or up to get in).

Only play on small maps, such as Wall Street.

The module that you want to use is: Air Stomp

To get a kill with Air Stomp, jump up in the air with A, and then press B when you are at the highest point to slam down on the enemies. If they do not die in the first hit, they will be severely damaged, and will die as soon as you do your second jump.

You can check your progress in Operative Status > Skill Assessments > Armor Modules. It should be the very top one named, "Air Stomp."

You will need 150 kils. The third tier is completed once you reach 150 kills total with the Air Stomp. Fastest out of any of the other modules.

It took me 2 Crash Site games to finish this module.

An easy non-boosting way to get this achievement that will actually benefit your character, since the upgraded versions are one of the better modules to have, (in my personal opinion.)

Covert Ops is essentially Dead Silence/Ninja if you ever played Call of Duty, it decreases the sound of your footsteps. Ive found this to be quite useful because people actually listen for footsteps and its quite easy to get the jump on them.

Using Covert Ops, close range kills will add towards this module. If you are like me, most kills in this game will be close enough to count towards this module.

Covert Ops II *should* be 250 Kills within 30m or so. Granting you protection from Ceph Airstrikes. Which is amazing when you are playing by yourself and get stuck with Randoms (Randies) who get rolled by level 50's who still play this game.

Covert Ops III *should* be 500 kills within 30m or so. Granting you the ability to hear enemy footsteps with more clarity. Great if you are sniper who dislikes movement.

Mind you the kills are granted towards this module with any mode up and any gun/nade/fist.

Correct me if I'm wrong fellas, couldn't find exact numbers on hand and this is my first real solution.

Suit Modules can be accessed via the Operative Status>Skill Assignments menu and are like the perks of the game. The Modules are either anything under the Armor, Stealth or Power sections and the general challenges do not count. Each one has a certain target that you need reach to unlock more stuff for them and help them upgrade. You'll first need to buy and unlock one of the perks to see what requirements you need to reach before you can start obtaining them.

Some of the easy ones are:

  • Proximity Alarm [Armor Module]
  • Armor Enhance [Armor Module]
  • Armor Melee [Armor Module]
  • Kill Armor [Armor Module]
  • Stealth Enhance [Stealth Module]
  • Covert Ops [Stealth Module]
  • Stealth Assassination [Stealth Module]
  • Side Pack [Power Module]
  • Aim Enhance [Power Module]
  • Weapon Pro [Power Module]

Each module has several levels, increasing the level it gives you an extra bonus. In tests you can see how much the module has been pumped. Take 1 module that you like best and run with it.

if you play honestly until level 17-22 without changing the pouch module that is given at the beginning like I did (I have the LE edition), then the trophy will automatically jump out the main thing is to spend more time in quick and team fights
