The Dedication trophy falls out for the vast majority of people (but unfortunately not for everyone I know) when playing multiplayer in different years (this is a well-known glitch of the game). I played 1 multiplayer match on December 30, 2014, and then played the 2nd multiplayer game in February 2015 and immediately received the Dedication trophy (this was my first trophy in the game). Thus, platinum can be obtained in a few days.
The servers in the game were in a buggy state for a long time (from about mid-2015 to April 2016). The game froze when entering multiplayer for 95% of players. However, a number of players could still enter multiplayer. If you join such a player (via invite or join game on psn), then the game does not freeze and you can play normally. Therefore, platinum in the game was always achievable.
In April 2016, the multiplayer was fixed and the freezes stopped (at least at the time of writing this post), I checked it myself at the end of April 2016.
