A woman turns out dead during a car wash. Drugs likely to be involved. Also, a
weird bug made my game windowed when I started this case. Too bad it's a bug
because it just made my job much easier for the rest of the guide! :)
Let's get on with it!
Sun 'n' Moon Carwash
====================
Scroll to the right and click on the TV hanging on the wall.
Approach the vehicle. Go to the right and look into the window to notice she's
missing an earring. Then go to the left and check the blue brush for points.
Open the door and look at the GPS holder. Find FINGERPRINT FOUND ON GPS
HOLDER.
Check the seat next to Jessica to take SYRINGE USED BY VICTIM. Examine it to
find FINGERPRINT FOUND ON SYRINGE FROM VICTIM'S CAR. Under the seat, there is
GPS DEVICE, FOUND KNOCKED LOOSE IN VICTIM'S CAR.
Finally, get out and talk to her friend, Veronica Carver. Question her on
everything and then let's leave the scene.
I suggest you visit the usual spots for thoroughness : The lab, the
interrogation room, the morgue & Brass just like the previous cases. You
should be at 42% Thoroughness.
Main Lab
========
Do a chemical search on the syringe. 2,5,6,8. Don't try this at home kids.
Do a search on the fingerprint on the GPS holder. Woah! Quite the rap sheet.
The autopsy is done so let's go see Doc Robbins.
Morgue
======
Well, no big surprise here. You'll receive DNA FOUND UNDER VICTIM'S NAILS,
JESSICA MARNIER'S TEN-CARD & JESSICA MARNIER'S DNA.
Meanwhile, Agent Huntby went missing. Knew it. Also, the car is now impounded
so you'll go back to the crime scene.
Sun 'n' Moon Carwash
====================
Check the trash and swab for VERONICA'S DNA, FOUND ON HER COFFEE CUP FROM THE
CRIME SCENE.
Then go into the carwash and get the blue brush on the left to get RED FIBER
FOUND IN CAR WASH BRUSHES.
Location searched! Back to the lab!
Main Lab
========
You'll automatically get FIBER FROM JUMPSUIT WORN BY CAR WASH EMPLOYEES.
Go to microscope and compare both fibers at x10. No Match!
Compare DNA under the nails to Veronica's DNA. Match!
Finally compare Jessica's fingerprints to the one on the syringe. Match!
Go to the garage lab.
Garage Lab
==========
Finally! New location. You'll automatically receive CCTV FOOTAGE FROM CAR WASH
THE NIGHT OF VICTIM'S DEATH.
Open both doors, enter, look on the driver's seat to find BAG OF DRUGS FOUND
IN VICTIM'S CAR. Analyze to find FINGERPRINT FOUND ON BAG OF DRUGS.
Look behind the driver seat to find a tear. Process to get RESIDUE FOUND ON
TEAR IN HEADREST.
Back to the lab! 52% Thoroughness by the way.
Main Lab
========
Compare the syringe with the residue found on the tear. Match!
Do a chemical search on the bag of drugs. 1,4,5,6.
Do a search on the fingerprint on the bag of drugs. Oh, look who's there!
Finally, analyze the footage.
Time to go back to the morgue. Talk to Doc Robbins.
Warrant available so let's talk to Brass and present the fingerprint proof.
Interrogation Room
==================
Question Will Rice on everything, you'll receive FIBER FROM WILL'S "COMMUNAL"
SWEATER & WILL RICE'S DNA.
You'll also receive confirmation it was definitely a homicide. That would be
a boring case if it was a suicide, wouldn't it?
Main Lab
========
Go to microscope and compare the fiber at the crime scene and the one from the
sweater at x200. Match!
Let's visit the new location.
Will, Jessy, and Veronica's Apartment
=====================================
*whistle*. Nice place! Wait... we.are.not.alone! *scream*
Approach the small round table. Pick up VICTIM'S CELLPHONE, FOUND IN
APARTMENT.
Approach the TV and look into the blue book. You'll find NEWSPAPER CLIPPING OF
BEATRIZ SALAZAR FOUND IN BOOK FROM VICTIM'S APARTMENT. Analyze it to find two
prints on it, middle left and slightly above and right of the head of her dead
husband. You'll get FINGERPRINT FOUND ON BEATRIZ SALAZAR NEWSPAPER CLIPPING &
A FINGERPRINT FOUND ON BEATRIZ SALAZAR NEWSPAPER CLIPPING.
Back out and go into the bedroom. Look in the bed and then the pillow to find
HAIR SAMPLE FOUND ON VICTIM'S PILLOW.
Go to corner to wash your hands. Or simply to open the drawer below to get
BOTTLE OF MEDICINE FOUND IN VICTIM'S ROOM. You'll also find on it FINGERPRINT
FOUND ON MEDECINE BOTTLE FROM VICTIM'S APARTMENT
Ok, let's go back to the lab. Oh, look who pops out. Question him until you
go back to the lab.
Main Lab
========
You automatically receive STATUE OF ST. AMBROSE, USED TO MURDER UMBERTO
SALAZAR. Examine it to find SAMPLE FOUND ON ST. AAMBROSE STATUE. Let's start
with that.
Go to chemical and analyze it. 2,4,6,8.
No surprise, we were set up. Go back to the lab.
Do an audio analysis of the cellphone. Warrant available. Let's wait before
going into that.
Do a seach on both fingerprints from the clipping. One will turn out to be
Will Rice. Compare the other one with Jessica. Match!
Do another search on the print from the bottle. Will again.
Do a chemical search on the bottle. 1,2,3,7.
Finally, compare the hair sample with Veronica's DNA. Match!
Let's talk with Will Rice again.
Interrogation Room
==================
Question him. When Will claims the morphine isn't his, present the
fingerprint from the bottle.
Continue questioning. And when he claims not to know the newspaper, use the
fingerprint from the newspaper.
Next up, Veronica. Use the fiber.
When she claims they were close and she'd miss her, use the cellphone.
When she claims she's not into violence, use the DNA from the nails.
Finish questioning her and Nick will bring news about the GPS.
Manny Molinez's Trailer
=======================
Approach the couch outside the trailer then look at the water next to it for
points. Then look at the couch and find MANNY'S CELLPHONE, WITH PICTURE OF
VERONICA AND WILL KISSING. "I was just sitting on the bed". Yeah right.
Approach the door and knock on it. Enter, go to the bathroom and look closer
to the toiler for points. Go back, look near the calendar to find a laptop
but you can't take it yet. Go closer to the kitchen sink and then finally
talk with Manny.
After you're done chatting, let's go see Brass for a warrant. Use Manny's
cellphone.
Will, Jessy, and Veronica's Apartment
=====================================
Go towards the bedroom corridor but turn completely to the right to open the
door to Veronica's bedroom. Look on the bed to pick up VICTIM'S EARRING,
FOUND IN VERONICA'S BEDROOM. Analyze it to find BROWN FIBER FOUND ON VICTIM'S
EARRING.
Look at the other end of the room, check on the table and find LAPTOP CABLE,
FOUND IN VERONICA'S ROOM. Process one end of it to get FINGERPRINT FOUND ON
LAPTOP POWER CORD.
And... location searched! I'm at 97% Thoroughness. Back to the lab!
Main Lab

Use the fingerprint search on the power cable print. His laptop, eh?
Go talk again with Veronica.
Interrogation room
==================
When she claims they're only friends, use Manny's cellphone.
When Veronica says Jessica always goes alone to the carwash, use the earring.
No surprise, she was banging him in her friend's room. Takes guts, I guess.
Anyway, Manny's lying to use so we'll need to sort that out. But first,
let's talk with Will.
When he denies a relationship, use the cellphone. Why do they think they can
hide that stuff from us?

Manny Molinez's Trailer

Let's go see Manny. Talk with him.
Go to Brass, use the cable as evidence. Back to Manny's trailer.
As you enter, check the left door frame and you'll find RED FIBER FOUND IN THE
DOORWAY OF MANNY'S TRAILER.
-- That last tidbit comes from Ian Keay who provided me the answer as to why I
couldn't get 100% on Thoroughness on Manny's trailer.
Pick up LAPTOP FROM MANNY'S TRAILER. Now let's get dirty and check into the
toilet to find BROWN GLOVE FOUND STUCK IN MANNY'S TOILET.
And... location searched!
Back to the lab!
Main Lab
========
Do a computer analysis on the laptop. Interesting! You get BEATRIZ SALAZAR'S
DNA.
Compare Will and Beatriz's DNAs. Familial match!
Go to microscope and compare the brown fiber with the glove at x200. Match!
Go to microscope and compare the red fiber from the door frame with the one
from the communal sweater at x200. Match!
Go back to Brass and present the glove for the arrest warrant.
Interrogation Room
==================
Prove he killed her with the glove fiber.
But it ain't over yet! Will Rice is found dead but his killer's DNA is under
his nails.
Compare it to Beatriz. Match! Wow, she's twisted, alright.

thanks for posting this guide! i don't like video guides for CSI... written out is so much easier and better for these games (for me anyway, it's a whole lot quicker)
