This achievement requires you to start a game in Arcade mode.
To change the game mode, press
and scroll down to where you see a game mode and BGM. You need to make sure the game mode is Arcade, which has a red background and says Arcade. Once it's there save your changes.
Once your changes are saved, you can start a game by inserting a coin with
and pressing 
. Select whatever ship, power shot and speed you want, and once the game loads you'll unlock this achievement.
