How to unlock the Heads up achievement in Dark Cloud - Definitive Guide

You will pick up bombs, bomb nuts, ice/fire/wind gems, etc. in dungeons, or you can buy a bomb in Norune Village for 80 g. Put your item in the Active Item box, lock onto an enemy, and use the square button to throw - easy as pie. I did this in the first dungeon because the enemies have low HP.

The item must be equipped in the active slot, fix the target and throw
A bomb is better, it will definitely kill.
