Pretty self explanatory - complete the first wave in either mission. In Battle of Ghen Crag, you have to contend with a few Pawns and some Sergeants near the end, use your mini-map to keep track of what side they're coming from. In Abyss Cannon, there's just a handful of UFO ships, should be easy even if your skills are a bit rusty.
