After obtaining the shotgun as Sam in chapter 2 head on to outside the barn. On the right next to the tractor is a barrel with a knife in it. Interact with it to unlock the achievement. Below is a video showing the location of this at 3:27.

anyone know if this is bugged cause i was standing by the barrel even backed up and walked next to it and it did not pop
