How to unlock the Farewell Drift achievement in DAYS GONE - Definitive Guide

To unlock the Farewell Drift trophy in Days Gone, you will need to accumulate a total of 10 minutes of drifting on your motorbike.

You can, of course, do this naturally as you play by pressing cn_O + cn_R2 + cn_LS in the direction you wish to turn.

If you want to do this in one go and get it out of the way with, you can perform a donut and keep spinning in a circle with your front wheel locked in place.

The other solution is great, but if you want to get this trophy without having to constantly stop and fill up gas than this is my method.

On the main mission No one saw it coming you are tasked to drive


You will have unlimited gas for the journey and no freekers. This allows you to do a donut until the trophy pops without having to stop for gas.

Great tip! Just want to add that I found a spot to do this earlier, in the "You're Safe Now" mission. After you fight the

you have to drive Lisa to camp, and you have unlimited gas. There's a stretch of road right before a tunnel that's zombie-free. I just did donuts in the bend in the road by the Salmoe Hot Springs sign.

This will come naturally over game play unless you ride the bike ultra slow and careful. Hold to drift around corners. To track your progress, press up in the menu screen and scroll to the trophy page for a progress tracker.

You can do it without nitrogen, press R2+O and the stick to the side, so we just circle in one place. It’s better to do it at a gas station; you’ll need 4 tanks.

Can be done during a story mission where the fuel level is not displayed.

Don’t worry about this trophy, it’s cumulative, when you ride on missions, always drift at turns, and by the middle of the game you’ll get the achievement.

In my storylines, in the “Prizes” tab you can see how many minutes out of 10 there are at the moment.

You will also need a lot of scrap, I did it according to the diagram above, for some reason my bike broke down, I ended up picking it up during a story mission

This trophy can be very easily won in the story mission in which you need to take Boozer to the south. You will be driving on the highway, no freaks, no animals around, endless gas - just perfect conditions. The main thing is to try not to crash into anything, otherwise you can accidentally kill Boozer himself and the drift time counter will roll back to the last save.

Made it on 1 tank at Mount O'Leary. The tank must be pumped to the maximum.
And personally, for me, the endless drift worked when the stick was tilted inside the circle (to the right). When you move the stick to the left, it turns out to be garbage.

The fuel reserve is the largest when choosing a tank from the game Death Stranding

This trophy must be completed in one adventure. I played through the game on normal and at the end of the game there was a total of 5 minutes of skidding, so I decided to finish it off on a new game +. Having started NI+, I discovered that the timer had reset to zero and began to “spin in circles” again. The trophy dropped at 10 minutes, that is, the skidding time from all playthroughs is not cumulative.
I did it near Iron Mike's camp (Lost Lake) at the east gate exit, refueling three times.

I found a very strange bug here or it’s not a bug, I don’t know, I completed this trophy and that is, I pressed R2 + O and during this moment I pressed the PS button and held it down to switch to the playstation menu and for some reason the game continued to do what I did I did, that is, the bike was spinning even though I released the buttons, and when I returned it stopped spinning, so I just left the game for 10 minutes and went about my business. If you don’t understand, then you need to press the ps button and hold it WHILE you are doing a fairwell drift. Version 1.61

The method works. Only I was dumb: I set the hero to spin like that and didn’t notice how the achievement fell out because of this “Quick Menu” window. As a result, at first I thought that they had fixed it, but in the end I went into achievements and saw that I had completed it.
