How to unlock the You Done Good, Kid achievement in DAYS GONE - Definitive Guide

Sub-Challenges are mini challenges within the main ones. There are 4 per challenge all with their own Bronze, Silver and Gold rank for reach. You only need to reach bronze for all 48 of them for the trophy and you can do each one on separate runs. However if you are going for gold in the main challenges you will naturally need to hit gold in all 4 mini challenges on those runs. See Gold Team Rules for the videos there have all sub challenge gold runs included.

in each of the tests there are also easier tests, for completing which you will also receive credits and reputation, and also for completing them when passing the test you will receive additional points that you need when receiving gold

To receive a trophy, bronze in intermediate tests is enough.
