How to unlock the A Fast Death achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide
Maybe it is just me, but the wording on this could be very confusing with who exactly needs to have the Haste buff between the Survivors being damaged or the Killer themselves. I could only do a very small amount of testing with this as it only requires eight survivors being damaged which is a surprisingly low amount given the devs history with some achievements.
From my best understanding it is the Survivors that need to have the Haste status. Fortunately there are a lot of things Survivors can be running that'll grant them Haste:
As the Knight, your Guards will drop a banner whenever they enter a chase. If survivors run into this, this will also grant them a Haste buff. Overall this isn't that hard of an achievement to get if you are working on other Killer related ones as well.
Credit to ManicMetalhead: You can use the Clown and hit survivors with the Antidote (yellow) potion. A couple of seconds after thrown, the yellow gas gives haste to anyone, killer or survivor, that walks through it. With a good throw you can force survivors to have haste.

I think I mentioned somewhere else too but another option for this is to play as the Clown and use his yellow potion. A couple of seconds after thrown, the yellow gas gives haste to anyone, killer or survivor, that walks through it. With a good throw you can force survivors to have haste.

I got this as Clown but something strange happened.
So while I went for his Adept I only ever used a single yellow bottle during the entire match I played.
Every other time I threw the Purple bottles at the survivors. I had an addon for increased Hindered. I went into the match with 2 out of 8 for this achievement. Somehow I got all remaining six. There was only one survivor who had a Haste perk too.
So my guess is that maybe the game thinks the Hindered status effect = Haste too?
