To get this you must play as the killer THE TRAPPER and pick up the traps around the map n place them in sneaky spots and when you catch a survivor DO NOT MELEE them as im pretty sure it wont count instead walk up to the trapped survivor and pick them up with rb

It definitely does not count if you melee them and knock them into the crawling position. It only counts if you use the RB method to pick them up directly from your trap.

In order to get this achievement, you need to pull a survivor out of your bear trap with 
while they are still trapped in it 10 times.
The best strategy I've found and the one I used to get this achievement requires you to play on the map Crotus Penn Asylum. When the match started, what I did was put traps in all of the entrance ways that lead into the asylum, which is the big, white, two-story building in the middle of the map, and then go look for the survivors by going on generator patrol. There are ~3 non-vaulting entrance ways into the asylum. Survivors typically can't see the traps since most of the entrances to the asylum are on an incline. Survivors would walk into the asylum to either open the chest or work on the generator on the second floor. I also had a lot of survivors try to duck me during chases by running through the asylum, so having traps at every entrance point helped a lot. You can use bear trap add-ons to aid you in this endeavor (ones that make it harder to escape the bear trap or make the traps less visible to survivors,) but it's not completely necessary, as the add-ons I had on my traps were common ones that sped up the survivors' bleed-out and increased my trap setting speed. I managed to get at least 5 bear trap catches in one game playing as the Trapper on Crotus Penn Asylum, so hopefully this method helps you unlock this achievement!

With a survivor trapped in the bear traps you have to pull them out of the trap instead of hitting them out of it for it to count.

For those struggling you need to grab the survivors with r1 while they are in the trap, hitting them or letting them escape from the trap wont count.
