Not sure if description is correct. I got this achievement by hooking 3 players in the basement in one game but not at the same time. I only ever got 2 people on at the same time.
Anyway the easiest way to get this achievement imo, is to go Leatherface and apply the Insidious perk. Once you've got someone hooked in the basement, just camp in the corner and wait for their teammates to come. Using Insidious gets rid of your terror radius after standing still for a few seconds and Leatherfaces' chainsaw can down multiple players. Just be warned, using this method can result in some hatemail for camping, but it's the easiest way to do it.

I had to do all 4. I hooked 2.... And one got sacrificed... Then I stuck a 3rd (2 on hook) and nothing so I camped. (Sorry but I had to)
Survivor came and pulled one off hook and I nabbed him and tossed him on (all 4 survivors have been hooked in the basement now) and that's when it finally popped.
Iron Grip perk makes this very doable.

The description of this trophy is misleading as you only have to hook 3 survivors in the basement during the entirety of a single game, not 3 at once. The survivors must also be hooked on 3 different hooks; it can't be the same one. As you can see from the screenshot below I had already killed one survivor and had two on the hook in my match.
This will require both skill and luck to unlock. I obtained this as the Trapper and was lucky to find myself in a situation in which survivors were helping each other out constantly. After hooking one survivor in the basement I trapped the area above and then wandered around until they went to help. In this match, I managed to hook all 4 survivors at least once in the basement, with the trophy popping at the third.

The hint above is not correct! There were 2 people hanging in my basement, 2 more people came to save them and they didn’t give me the trophy. You just need to hang 3 in the basement
