This achievement can be obtained on the map Haddonfield: Lampkin Lane by repairing the generator in the Myers' house and escaping. If given the option I recommend escaping through the exit gates rather than the hatch. The hatch seems to be hit or miss when it comes to unlocking achievements.

Probably because the map has been (hopefully temporarily) discontinued. Will likely return when we get a map rework.

This is map specific and you must be playing on Haddonfield.
You are not required to own the "Halloween" DLC as all maps are free.
Myers house is the blue one with a pumpkin and a sign that says "STRODE".

The generator should spawn on the second floor.
Some times it will spawn in the room right off to the left of the stairs and three people should be able to get on it but sometimes it will spawn a corner where only one person can get on it. So watch out for that as someone else could beat you to it or f you're playing with friends and you all want to get the achievement.
Other things to note about the house is that I only see it spawn in the middle of the map and thus the killer is likely to pass by and hear you working on it.
The killers basement with the four hooks and chest always spawns in this house. Another house also has a basement but it's not the one that you see on every map.
The back window leads to a balcony, so if the killer is around then you can jump out to there and hide out. If a chest is spawned in the corner against the wall, you can even hide behind it.

Are you sure it is not necessary to own the dlc in order to get the achievement? I tried this several times with no success, and a friend that owns the dlc got the achievement at his first try.

I'm having the same issue. Completed the generator solo then escaped through the hatch with no achievement. Thinking you either need to own the DLC or escape through the gates.

This trophy is earned on the Lampkin Lane, Haddonfield map. The Myer's house is the one that has the Jack-o-Lantern on the front porch and the Strode Realty sign in the front lawn. Also unique to this house, the killer basement only spawns here as this map never spawns a killer shack. There is always a generator on the second floor of this house. You need to fully repair this generator and escape the map alive to earn this trophy.
