How to unlock the I achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide

A note about prestige: when you get to your level 50 bloodweb, try to resist the urge to buy anything. It will 'activate' that particular bloodweb then when you prestige it will stay there even though your character resets to level one. Since the entity doesn't show up to consume the web until level 10 you're stuck buying everything on that web before you can progress. Its a big bloodweb.
I honestly don't know if the same lvl 50 bloodweb will persist if you don't make a purchase, or if the webs themselves go back to the smaller sized ones after that. If anyone can speak to that in the comments I'd appreciate it. Thx.

*edit - yeah, the webs go back down in size once they reset to level 1.

**edit - and yes, just press prestige button in middle of web and you can skip that entire web.

***edit - ok, don't know if this is new because of the last patch, but I just prestiged Michael Myers in the middle of the level 50 bloodweb I'd started and it completely reset. So...who knows?

I have had a lot of playtime on this game and all i can say is, it quite the grind... leveling all characters to 50 and prestiging but i am going to assist you guys hopefully.

For starters you want to get bloodpoints and you get blood points from playing the game and doing things in matches like unhooking survivors completing gens and going on chases with the killer. The same vice versa for the killer. For this achievement..killers is your best bet with leveling quickly as they generally gain more BP (bloodpoints) per round.

There are 2 perks that you can use to speed up BP gains and that is "BBQ and Chili" which is a perk given by leatherface and gives 25% BP gains for every new survivor you hook up to 100% BP gains. "Distressing", which is a skill all the killers have and gives 75% BP boost for using that killers special ability( for example leatherfaces chainsaw). Now you do have to buy leatherface for the price of 5$ I believe. So if you don't mind paying money, and you really enjoy the game I would buy him, as he is quite fun and reduces the grind of the game. If you want to go the free route, I would use the doctor as he is the least stealthy killer in the game, and really flushes out the survivors, though he is going to take longer than using leatherface with bbq and chili to get to level 50 which is the prestige level.

If you find that killer is not the route for you, you can also use survivors. For this i recommend David king who has the "we're going to live forever" perk which gives you plus 25% bp in all categories when you unhook or protect another survivor from taking a hit from the killer also stacks up to 100%.

There are also offerings you can give in the pregame lobby to increase bloodpoint gains. "bloody party streamers", "soups"(only for killers), "letters"(for survivors) all offer 100% BP gains depending on the rank at which they are unlocked in the bloodweb. These can only be unlocked in the BLOODWEB though so if you see them always get them.

Other than that your all set . killer is pretty straight forward track survivors, hook survivors, kick gens and use your ability the game isn't about escaping or killing everyone all the time, you're going to lose at some point. For survivors just try your best in game to be a team player work on gens go for saves and body block to get your points up.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the guide, as this is one of my first ever and I still play this game a lot, and would like to give any pointers to anyone who needs them.

I have some good news to new players! Firstly, you have nothing to lose when you prestige killers/survivors in terms of addons/or perks. Also, with the Wesker update/release, the blood web is much cheaper than it was in previous updates. However, it is still a considerable grind in order to accomplish prestige no matter the tier.

Level a character's Bloodweb to Level 50, and then follow the prompt in the middle of the bloodweb to Prestige. You will gain 1 out of the 3 cosmetics for prestiging but lose all your consumable items and perks stored in that character. Unlocked teachables are unaffected

In order to prestige any character, you need to reach level 50 first. Once you reach level 50, there will be a skull icon in the center of your blood web that you can select that will ask you if you want to prestige the character. When you prestige a character you will lose all items, add-ons, offerings, and perks. You will obtain a blood article of clothing for that specific character, and your blood web in future levels will more frequently give you rarer items, add-ons, perks, and offerings.
When you prestige for the first time, this trophy will unlock and you will receive a blood shirt for your chosen character.
Of all of the characters you can level up for this trophy, I highly recommend starting with Claudette or Nea. Claudette's Self-Care and Empathy perks are very good for your own survival and working to improve the success of your team. Nea's Urban Evasion perk allows you to crouch walk at the same speed you can walk normally, which helps to reduce your visibility making it easier for you to complete objectives towards escape or evade nearby stalking killers.
