How to unlock the Left For Dead achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide
This is more of a solo strategy than a guide since the achievement is pretty straight forward.
This achievement is going to be very difficult at higher ranks. I suggest going for this at the lower ranks. The reason why you want to try this at lower ranks is due to that fact that you will likely be paired with a bad killer who may not know what he is doing and this is key since you do not want the killer to close the hatch at the end of the game.
Perk you should be running while attempting this achievement Self Care, Bond, Left Behind & Wake Up and a toolbox
When you attempt this achievement (whether it be at high rank or low rank) you want to focus on gens. At lower ranks, you may have teammates that dont know how to hit skill checks so do not go and rescue you teammates of the hook, leave it to your teammates to take care of that. You want to time it so that you dont finish the gens too fast. I had issues in a few games where i would do all but one gen and run the killer to my teammate, just to have my teammate locate the last almost gen and pop it before the killer can get to him. If your bringing a toolbox dont use it until the last gen. If your teammate dies and you happen to be the last one left, using the tool box in combination of the Left Behind perk, you should be able to knock out that last gen extremely fast.
Once you complete the last gen head to an exit gate (preferably farthest from the gen you just popped as the killer will likely be heading in your direction). This is where your Wake Up perk will come in handy, you will be able to open the door 15% faster(with the Tier 3 perk). If the killer is making his rounds, he will check the door and then look for the hatch (if he hasnt shut it yet). Once he leaves your gate you pretty much have it in the bag unless he has something that can one hit you like NoED .
With all that being said good luck. If there is anything that I can add let me know. I solo farmed this for 2 hrs so hopefully with a buddy it should be a lot easier.

I just did this....no achievement. I waited to pop last gen once last guy was fully dead and showed the skull, open the gate, ran out....nothing. God that sucks.

This achievement isn't quite as hard as you might think. You don't have to finish the last gen per say, just any gen after the third survivor dies but before the killer can close the hatch and you can accomplish this by getting a gen to 99 or saving a Brand New Part and trying to rush the gen when your last team mate is being chased. You could also SWF to coordinate that bit. If you manage that, then wait for the killer to close the hatch and leave through an exit gate and you'll get it. I recommend Wake Up and Spine Chill as they'll help you open the gate just a bit faster under pressure but those few seconds can be enough.
This trophy can pop if you fix a generator and then the killer closes the hatch, it does not have to be the fifth generator!
This achievement is going to be very difficult at higher ranks. As a result, I would do this at the lower ranks (15 or lower). However, it is going to be harder now if the killer stomps the hatch because that will immediately power all exit gates. I would have one repaired to 99% just on the safe side.
I recommend you run the perks Self Care, Bond, Left Behind & Wake Up and a toolbox. I also would run a higher quality tool box and save it for the end.

This trophy is why this DLC is rated so difficult. In past times where the hatch couldn't be closed you could simply finish the last generator or 2 while the killer wasted their time standing over the hatch to prevent the easy escape in a stand off. As of patch 2.7.0's inclusion of the end game collapse, the killer can now close the hatch which begins the Collapse and locks down the generators preventing you from further interactions with them making this trophy wildly situational to earn. The new end game was implemented without trophies in mind so this one was never balanced accordingly. This means at the bare minimum you must already have 4 generators finished and a 5th one relatively close to being finished and be the last man standing when the 3rd survivor is sacrificed or killed, then be able to finish that final generator before the killer closes the hatch, effectively voiding out the attempt. On top of all this, you still have to escape through an exit gate rather than the hatch which means also evading the killer (who gets a notification of where you are when you finish that last generator) and get one of the 2 exit gates open and escape before the killer finds you. This can also be bad for you depending on how close together the gates spawn making patrolling them way easier for the killer. As with many other trophies in this game you'll need Skill and a ton of luck.
It's hard to recommend perks to get this accomplished when your survivability really comes down to your own play style. There are perks that can speed up opening the doors though not by very much which might be considered a waste. That's up to you to take into your own considerations though. Those perks would be Quentin's "Wake Up", Basic perk "Resilience" (while injured), and Basic perk "Spine Chill" (While the killer is looking at you from 36 meters away or less). For more details on these perks, click here to see the Survivor Perks Supplemental Guide: LINK

At the moment, you can be the last survivor, there will be at least 5 unstarted generators, but if the maniac closes the hatch, then all the generators will start at once and all you have to do is open the gate and run away!

At the end of August 2019, the hint from ScaryKirill does not work.
There were 2 unrepaired generators left, the killer closed the hatch, which led to power supply to the gate. I opened the gate, ran away, and they didn’t give me the trophy.

The description of the trophy is as clear as possible. You need to get a fifth gene, being at that time the last survivor, open the gate and leave. Opening the gate when left alone with the killer is not always easy; the gates may spawn close to each other or the maniac will be able to control the opening. Two perks that will help are wake up (speeds up the opening process) and spine chill (speeds up the opening process when a maniac is looking at you). Taking both of them is not entirely advisable, because you also need to survive to the end, but with this combination the gates will open as quickly as possible.
