How to unlock the One More Step achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide

To see what perks you have that give an endurance stat to either you or a teammate type "endu" in the perks search bar.

From the looks of it, the best perks to use to get this achievement would be:
Zarina's perk: Off the record
David King's perk: Dead Hard

There is also an item addon that can help as well:
Medkit with addon Styptic Agent. (Credit SG1 Stelson)

Off the record applies after getting unhooked and remains active for a good amount of time and as long as you don't touch a totem, generator, heal a teammate, etc. You can just run back to the killer and get hit to immediately to get progress for the achievement.
Note: You do get endurance after being unhooked no matter what perks you run but having off the record would make the amount of time you have much longer.

Dead hard is a bit more situational and tricky to get the hang of. When you're hurt and being chased by the killer you can activate Dead hard right as the killer is about to hit you to essentially tank another hit without going down.

If you do either of this correctly you will notice a yellow bar beneath your characters picture, and you will eventually need to mend to prevent yourself from going down

If you have tried any other perks to get this achievement please mention in the comments what worked for you.

I just successfully did it with David King. Tracker didn't go up...

Does the built in Endurance after being unhooked not count? It’s not updating my tracker when I do get hit using that

If you have someone to play with, you can have them run Borrowed Time for another endurance after being unhooked.

I can't speak on dead hard 100% at the moment because the game won't let me pop it most of the time (idk if it is broken or what). I can say that the base endurance from being unhooked does count for me in my game without off the record. The game has its buggy moments when achievements don't track. When I had that problem it ended up fixing itself eventually.

Young Yeetman I’m having the same issue. The game isn’t letting me use DH. Also, I’m getting no progress regardless of which perks I run. Took an Off the Record hit and it didn’t count

Edit: Finally tracking now that achievements seem to be working normally again

Okay so after playing my last game I ate a hit with off the record and escaped via hatch after repairing the gen in the main building on the new map and I didn't get anything

For Endurance stats, Off the Record is best after the rework of Dead Hard. Just make sure once you're unhooked that you don't do a conspicuous action (fix a gen etc).

This achievement is meant to be tied in with using Gabriel Soma's perk Made for This, which gives you endurance for up to 10 seconds when you're injured and heal another survivor.

On top of the above, simply taking a hit after being unhooked gives you endurance.

Another good option is to bring a medkit with a Styptic Agent

Tracker seems to be updating slowly but Off the record works very well. I would recommend using this method.

Endurance status after being rescued from the hook is working too. No need for perks.

Taken at least 15-20 endurance hits with OTR and BT. Tracker at 30%. These devs never miss a chance to remind me how inept they are.
