THIS IS MY 1ST DRAFT FOR THIS GUIDE. I MIGHT ADD MORE/EXPAND UPON IT LATER. I JUST WANTED TO GET A BASIC GUIDE OUT FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GIVE SUGGESTIONS/FEEDBACK BEFORE DOWNVOTING THIS.
UVX is The Unknown's main power. It's essentially a flesh like cannon that comes out of your chest that lets you fire a pink goo ball like a canon/mortar. The Goo ball bounces once before exploding leaving a decent sized blast area.
Any survivor within the blast radius gets a status effect called "Weakened" which is indicated by a purple/violet aura around their head. If they get hit again by an explosion while weakened, they will get injured. If they are already injured and weakened while getting hit by an explosion, they will be put into the dying state.
- The explosion's blast area can go through walls.
- Every time you use the UVX power, it requires 7 seconds to recharge.
Tips for getting hits with your UVX:
- Use survivor aura reveling perks to make it easier to predict where to fire your shots.
- Fire at generators from a distance that you suspect Survivors are working on.
- Fire at survivors who are unhooking other survivors.
- Ricochet shots off of pallets that survivors are near during a chase.
- The blast radius goes through walls, so take advantage of that, especially on maps that are more enclosed.
-You don't have to hit the survivor directly with your projectile. You just have to hit close enough to where they are/ where they're going that they'll be in the blast radius once your goo ball explodes.
Notes:
- Hitting a survivor directly with your projectile just hinders/slows them down temporarily. It doesn't damage them or put them into the weakened state.
- Survivors have the ability to get rid of the weakened state, by looking at The Unknown for 10 seconds.
-The Survivor has to get put into the dying state via your UVX for it to count towards the achievement. I don't think melee attacks count even if they are "weakened".
