How to unlock the Quick Draw achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide

I have been having the most success using a stealth/totem build on Myers (Keep in mind that M&A is a Doctor teachable and that Third Seal and Ruin are Hag teachables)

-Monitor & Abuse to reduce your terror radius for stealth
-Hex: The Third Seal to give the blindness status effect which disables Aura of Survivors on a Hook, disables Aura of Survivors in Dying State, and disables Aura-reading Add-ons
- Hex: Thrill of The Hunt gives you a notification every time someone tries to cleanse one of your hex totems
- Hex: Ruin to slow down gens but you can run any other totem you see fit
-paired with the Dead Rabbit add on (Reduces terror radius when in Tier 2 of Evil Within for even more stealth)

Alternatively, jumpscare Myers on the smaller maps also works well.
Same build but I swap monitor for Barbecue and Chili (Tier 1 Myers has no terror radius so we don't need to worry about reducing it) for bloodpoints but it doesn't matter really, run what you're comfortable with
-Scratched Mirror add on for basically wallhacks, every time you stalk you see survivors in real-time within a 32-meter range but you can't go past Evil Within 1
-And the Boyfriends Memo add on for increased lunge in Tier 1 because his lunge is pitiful without it
This build best exceeds on these maps (I recommend going through your bloodweb for these map offerings so you have a better chance to play on these maps instead of leaving it to chance)
-Léry's Memorial Institute (offering is Shattered glasses)
-The Game Meatplant (offering is a jigsaw piece)
-Hawkins National Laboratory (offering is a lab id card)

and lastly, you don't have to grab the survivor off the totem. As long as the survivor is on the totem cleansing and you hit them while doing so it counts towards the achievement. I hope this helps in any way! :D

Hex:Thrill no longer notifies you but is still a good perk to use for the achievement.

I will tell you the easy way to get this achievement. Just play as friendly killer. Let them repair and don't hit them, gain their trust and look for a nearby totem. Then hit the totem and if they are smart enough they will understand and help you. On my first try I did seven. You choose the method, but this is a very good one.

Edit: I did it in two matches. But I had to do it thirteen times, so yeah, it can be a bit glitchy.

By far easiest way to get it. Use deathslinger any hex and make sure you have insidious on. Find a spot where you can get a clear shot at the hex, Don’t move til insidious activates then aim at the hex and wait. If they don’t see you it’s a fun surprise. If they do, they assume you’re afk and try it anyway. I usually got 3-4 per match.

Personally I found the hag the easiest killer to use while doing this as her 3 primary perks are all hex totem perks. Pick at least one I found the more active hexes/totems the more likely a survivor will try to cleanse. Then add the Hex: Thrill of the hunt which notifies you whenever a survivor starts cleansing a totem. However if you have bought DLC’s and have a stealthy killer such as The Shape or Ghost Face it may be easier to add a hex totem perk along with Thrill of the hunt on one of those killers making it easier to grab survivors off the totems.

You have to grab them? Or can you just hit them off it?

Interrupt is a keyword in dbd that usually means to pull someone off something, like the ghostface achievement or from the most she kills or whatever the nurse one is called.

Both achievements mentioned by fug the pug have the keyword "grab" on their description, so this one is yet to be confirmed if you need to grab or just hit them while cleansing.

I can confirm you can grab or hit, as long as they're actually on the totem. Had the achievement tracker go up when I tried both ways. I was lucky to find some random who let me get them all in one game.

I'll accept that I'm wrong then. Got it the hard way by grabbing with ghostyboi.

Weird... I just grabbed a survivor off of a totem like 12 times as I found a couple of nice survivors who gave me a hand with this, my progress did not go up at all?

I haven't personally completed this yet but I recently saw this video from Otzdarva, and he uses the demogorgan with lifeguard whistle, you could also pair this with red moss which makes it so you don't make sounds when emerging from a portal and you're a little bit faster, so the survivor will really have to be paying attention to avoid being hit or grabbed. So basically you place a portal on your totem, activate it and then anytime someone steps on the portal ie to complete the totem you'll get killer instinct and be able to teleport over to the totem. I'll include the the video just below, this seems to me like the best way to get this, esspecially if you have something like devour at 3 or more stacks and they really feel the pressure to cleanse it. Also just an added tidbit, survivors on top on an active portal become oblivious and won't be able to hear your heartbeat if you're close enough to walk on over instead of teleporting.

You need to either hit the surva who breaks the totem, or grab him by the scruff of the neck. Both count.

I grabbed the surva, but the trophy did not fall out. I definitely did more than 10. You just need to give a hit to the survivor while cleaning the totem.

I disagree, I just grabbed the survivor instead of hitting him, the trophy fell out. If anything, the survivor in my case cleared the damage
