Dead by Daylight

As with a lot of special attack achievements in this game, whether it’s hitting survivors with Huntress hatchets, Nemesis whips, or now Alien tails, your best bet is to land them while the survivor is locked into a vault animation. Waiting until a survivor has committed to vaulting a pallet or window and then using your special attack is a near-guaranteed way to land it.

One thing to look out for is if they try to fake the vault. An easy way to tell they’ve committed to the vault is by looking to see if they’re holding an item. If they are, and the item they’re holding disappears, you can begin to use your special attack, because they’re stuck in the vault animation.

Worst case scenario, you can always hit survivors unhooking or at the exit gates as well. An experienced player shouldn’t have trouble knocking this out in a few matches.
