This may get patched out as it pretty much breaks the gameplay.
If you HOLD BLOCK and SPAM THE RIGHT TRIGGER you can get a perfect defense 99 out of 100 times. This will allow you to follow up with a finishing move. This little trick is truly overpowered when you mix it with other ability cards. Like creating an explosion when perfect blocking and healing when perfect blocking.
(You can also do this with dodging, but I am simply sharing a very simple trick to do it with blocking)
NOTE: You will not start with the ability to block. It will be unlocked automatically through playing. Each character will get it at different times. For example, block will be the very first unlock for Clara. Other characters will not get block until you reach level 10.

You can start performing finishing blows as early as the first fight in the game. Easiest finishing blow to perform is the "skull stomp". Stagger zombies using heavy attacks and or the kick ability and they will fall to the ground. When they are on the ground press the 
button to perform the finishing move.

Finishing moves are performed when successfully pulling off a defensive counter (using the block button), then grabbing a stunned enemy. Once you’ve grabbed a zombie with 
, you can bludgeon them with attacks using 
, and, assuming their health is low enough, you’ll execute a brutal finisher, specific to the type of weapon you’re using. Combine this with the I Got a Zombie Army and You Can't Harm Me 
trophy to kill two birds with one stone.
