Just like with "I want one of those" this will require a complete mod to a weapon, not a simple upgrade (as of patch 1.1), so use any of your blueprints to modify a weapon and go killin'! You'll be using modified weapons with much more regularity in the later parts of the game, so don't worry about it too much in the beginning.

Modified weapons are any weapons you have upgraded or added mods to at a workbench. You should just get this trophy naturally as you will be modding/upgrading your weapons a lot to survive the game. You will more than likely unlock this on your first playthrough. As with every trophy, you can check your progress in the "Extras" => "Trophies" part of the pause menu.
