This is a story related achievement and cannot be missed. You earn it for completing chapter 10.
Spoilers below....
Chapter 10 will involve you entering the Ishimura for a trip down memory lane as you travel through the most dramatic areas of Dead Space 1.
All of a sudden, after a long quiet sequence, the game increases difficulty here. The worst bit is the long dark corridor just after the first brutes attack. Inch forward, and as soon as you hear Ellie tell you the necromorphs are swarming in, sprint back to the start of the corridor - this will allow you to pick them off with ease.
The other difficult area is the return to the decontamination room. You will get ambushed here. I found the alt-fire on my upgraded l contact beam (with added stasis) to help a lot here. The alt-fire on the gravity gun and line gun are also excellent in this situation.
The rest of the mission is fairly straightforward and Ellie will guide you through a puzzle in the Engineering deck, followed by a trip through Medical, finally onto the Bridge. Save often, take your time and be ready for ambushes.
