How to unlock the Denied! achievement in Deadliest Warrior: Legends - Definitive Guide

A parry is done by blocking as a character who doesn't have a shield, and hitting the attack button your enemy does at the exact time they hit it. For example, say youre Cortes and your enemy is Sun Tzu. While blocking, if youre opponent attacks high, you must hit Y at the exact time of their impact on your block. An easy way to do this is to learn the character's "noob" combos (the ones that consist of just one button, i.e. X,X,X or Y,Y,Y) and just expect the enemy to use them, so depending on your enemy, you have a greater chance of correctly guessing the height of their attack.

I know this is confusing, so please leave comments on how to make this better. Thanks

Okay I just helped somebody online with this and my solution is quite easy since we managed to do it first time. My friend was boosting and I was helping basically.

He was cortez and I went as shaka zulu then we did a countdown 1, 2, 3, and we attacked/paried directly on 3.

This worked everytime to my amazement but anyway this is how I helped my friend do it as I had already done it a long time ago.

Also if you can't find somebody then message me and I will help you personally.

You parry pressing , or while blocking a grappling move. You have to guess which button the opponent used to attack when you're grappled. You have to hit the same button your opponent is pressing.

Regardless of what the description says, the parrys do not have to be in a row. You can do a parry, block, block, do another parry etc. and still get the trophy. You just can't get hit in between the parry.
