Make sure 2 microphones are plugged in, go into Party mode, then pick out your best song, select BATTLE, and rap into ONLY the 1st Player’s microphone for just the first few words. Set the 2nd Player’s microphone on the floor or somewhere further away from where you are. Make sure it is the 1st Player’s microphone you are using because this will not work if you outscore the 1st Player with the 2nd Player’s microphone.

This achievement can be done on easy. Choose "Play" and then "Party" from the main menu. Now choose a song, and on the difficulty select screen be sure you change from "Solo" to "Battle". Also be sure to have two mics connected. Now perform only the first couple of words from the song into your own microphone. You should only earn a couple hundred points. For the rest of the song, simply remain quiet enough that no sounds register in either mic. There is no fail, so the song will finish out and you will win the battle by the couple of hundred points you earned at the beginning. The achievement will pop at the results screen.
