Very easy. Simply assign an effect to 
before starting a song and press on the PS3 Controller during one of your performances. The trophy will pop right away.

As you progress through the career, you will unlock different visual effects for use in the game. During any song, hit start, and select "Settings". Go down to "Audio Effects" and assign an effect to a button. Return to the song, and press that button to use the effect. This achievement will pop at the end of the song.
