How to unlock the And Add Some Spinning Rims achievement in Destroy All Humans! 2 - Definitive Guide

There are 10 primary weapon datacores you will find on your journey through the Swinging Sixties. Each unlocks a new weapon or (like the last) new upgrades for existing weapons. Most, if not all of them, will be revealed to you through your progression of the stories.

1) Dislocator: Bay City, Mission 1.
* Saucer Repair Datacores 1-5 are required for Mission 3.
2) Disintegrator Ray: Bay City, Mission 4 after defeating the boss.
3) Anti-Gravity Field: Albion, one of the arches of Hyde Park.
4) Anal Probe: Albion, underground tunnels (seen during one of the missions).
5) Meteor Strike: Albion, Canal Side after Mission 8.
6) Sonic Boom: Takoshima, Gouka Road/Takoshima City intersection (above the K of Gouka on the map)
7) Ion Detonator: Takoshima, White Ninja compound (after mission 12).
8) Gastro: Castle Kuro ruins (after Mission 13).
9) Burrow Beast: Takoshima, final Arkvoodle mission.
10) Quantum Deconstructor: Tunguska, Tarkovskoye W, a hairpin turn on the road (back and forth repeatedly). Protected by several mutants, visible and available upon landing in the new map.
*The datacore for Blisk Weakness is rewarded from Mission 20.

Datacores are orange triangles (marked accordingly on the map) that give you access to new weapons or upgrades. There are only 16 Datacores you can get in the entire game, most of which will open on their own, however, 4 of them are not so easy:
  • Anti Gravity Fields - located at the top of the arch in the north of Hyde Park in Albion . You will need a fully upgraded jetpack;
  • Sonic Boom - located on Gouka Road in Takoshima If you go by the map, it's right above the letter U in GoUka ;
  • Burrow Beast - unlocked upon completion of the Arkvoodle cult's final mission , The Coming of Arkvoodle , in Takoshima (requires 30 Alien Artifacts );
  • Quantum Deconstructor - located in Tarkovskoye in Tunguska . If you navigate on the map, then right under the letters TA .
