How to unlock the Good Soul achievement in Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Definitive Guide

You can get this Achievement if you arive the 2nd Time in Hengsha. After the Crash you can try to save Malik's life by killing the other Guys quickly. Preferably with a Sniper and a EMP Granate/Tyhoon for the Mech.

If you want to get the Pacifist Achievement, you need a Stun-Gun and a EMP Granate. Carefull with the EMP Grante, or kill the Soldiers first, the Explosion from the Mech maybe kill one or two Soldiers!

Thanks for the video. This is much easier to get then I thought it would, as long as you have the right upgrades.

Worked a treat for me too - the mech exploding from the EMP took out a gas cannister and KO'd another two guys.

If you just got to this stage and realised you dont have the right weapons here's what I did.
You need level 5 hack skill or the password from looking around the offices. (I cant remember the password off the top of my head)
if you load your last auto save when you were in Sarifs office, if you go out to the helicopter pad, theres a ladder in the back right corner go down this to find a locked door, if you have a level 5 hack still you can open a door which has a stun gun ammo and 2 upgrades.
I then used the stun gun and followed the video as shown here.

This is absolutelly the best way to get the achievement. HOWEVER, just make sure that stunned enemies are not killed accidentally. When you throw the EMP grenade at the mech, the machine will eventually explode. If the unconscious enemies are caught in the blast, they will die. Also if an enemy is stunned and falls down from a building, he will die.

With this guide I succeessed saving Malik five times in a row on Give me Deus Ex, but every time one enemy was killed and I had to re-do it.

It's easier to save your game first, save her life using lethal methods, then reload and let her die. This allows you to take your time in dispatching the enemies without accidental deaths.

Worked for me!!! I went back (after Malik left) and counted how many there were in order to check to make sure all had been knocked out by looking for the zzz. I counted 10 in total, 2 heavies, 2 snipers, and 6 combat rifle guys. Thanks for the help.

Dunno if they patched it to be harder or what, but every time I ran this most of all of the enemies were in different positions that your video, and were always to be found in those positions regardless of how many times I reloaded, so... not so helpful a video I'm afraid

*Non-Lethal* Solution

If you want to do go for the Non- Non-Lethal version of this achievement and save the girl this is what you will need:

Augmentations:
Dermal Armor 3/4 (EMP Shielding is not necessary)

Icarus landing System (saves time)

Weapons
Stun Gun (the Tranq rifle won’t work!! I tired the Tranq rifle 10 times and it was FAIL BOAT)

10 Stun Gun Bolts (if you have less than 10 you might be able to do it but 10 will make this much easier and the more Bolts the better!!)

EMP grenade (MANDATORY!! If you don’t have an EMP grenade then don’t bother)

Supplies
2-3 Hypo-stems (to regen Health)

Strategy

Save as soon as soon as you crash just in case you need to do this 2-3 times to get your timing down. They don’t give you much time so speed and targeting is critical. The good news is the guys are fixated on the crash to pay much attention to you. There will be a few guys in the build to the right and only a couple guys in the building to the left.

As soon as the action starts have you Stun Gun and EMP grenade equipped. Drop down to the rubble and work your way around the right side of the crash. Start taking out guys with the stun gun working you way counter clockwise around the crash. Aiming is critical since the reload time is slow and you won’t have too many stun bolts to miss with. So focus you attention on the (2) heavy weapons guys. Taking them out early will give you more time since they do the most damage to the ship. After you take out the first (5) or so guys on the ground you should hear a helicopter. This will drop the Mech. If you at the back of the map by the door they drop the Mech right in front of you. You will be fine since the Mech is focused on the crash he can’t see you. Just throw the EMP at it as soon as it lands. Facing the Mech, now turn 180 and in the back right of the map should be stairs. Take out the two guys on the second floor and then go up the ladder on the left and take out the last guy on the third floor. Now jump down (Icarus landing System helps save time taking the stairs) and go to the other building. Facing the building the stairs will be in the back on the right. There might be a guy in here so look for him. If he is there he will be easy to spot. Then go upstairs and take out the last guy.

You will take a lot of rifle fire so use the hypo-stems as necessary. If you run out of stun gun bolts you should have enough time to melee the few remaining guys that are left. If Malik comes on line and tells you “you’re on your own” reload and retry. I did this method 3 times to make sure I didn’t fluke it, so it worked for me all three times.

This technique helped so much, I had used nearly all my stun bolts on the previous boss, but I managed to scrape together 8 rounds before the mission. One of the guys kept getting killed by the robot exploding, so I had to drag him away before it landed. Complicated - but it's done!

Hi guys a quick question.

I'm currently doing a non-lethal playthrough, but will have do do another playthrough after for the books etc.

Am I better off saving myself the stress of doing this achievement on my current playthrough and just leaving it for my lethal playthrough?

I did this on the hardest difficulty using only a Tranq rifle, Take-downs, and an EMP grenade for the mech. It took me 3 tries. The tranq gun is neccessary for the snipers...

Did you set off any alarms etc? or does this bit not matter for that achievement? im goin for non lethal/hardest & no alarms in the same playthrough and i dont mind goin back to pick up this achievement in a second run through

Immediately shooting the two heavies with the tranq gun makes this alot easier, since their heavy rifles do a whole lot of damage. I got this on the hardest difficulty, so it's doable.

Nice guide... Took me a few tries, but your info was very helpful. Only thing I'm worried about is that there are some dead bodies left behind. I did not use any lethal weapon(s), and the bodies seemed to be mostly were the mech blew up, but we will see. I have saves right before the battle, so if I have to I can start over from there and this time Malik is on her own (doomed I know).

I'd like to add that incapacitated enemy soldiers dying from the mech blast does *not* count against you for Pacifist. I had four subdued enemies die from the mech's self destruct and still received the achievement at the end of the game.

I just worked my way from the ground up and the only special attention was dropping an EMP grenade for the mech. It's pretty hard to miss the heavily vocoded ENTERING COMBAT regardless of how far you've managed to advance.

Ya, the gas grenade tossed at the heavies at the start REALLY helps. If you do it early enough, you can get the three of them back there in its range which also has the side benefit of keeping them away from the mech when it drops. Thanks for that Shiner! :)

I was having a problem with one of the 2 combat rifle using guys on the second level. For some reason, he kept dying on me. I don't know why. He should've been far enough away from the mech exploding that it wouldn't hurt him. I think it was just luck of the draw that he eventually didn't die. Took about 3 tries of taking out the mooks before I finally got him to live through it.

On the hardest difficulty, I only needed 1 Hypo-stim and that was because of the first combat rifler on the right of the first level.

I didn't even know it was possible to get non-lethal in this part, but after 3 tries I ended up getting it (the mech kept self-destructing and killing people). So I came here to write a non-lethal solution... and there's already more than enough good ones lol.

There's no point in writing another solution because we have more than enough great ones already, but I'll add a couple things that helped me out:

-First and foremost: relax. Things seem rather hectic at first, but you have more than enough time to take everyone out. You'll soon notice this is really an easy task.

-If you have a Gas Grenade, then use it at the very start to take out the heavy gunners and possibly another guard (Gas Grenade is in no way necessary, it just makes things a lot easier and be sure to avoid the gas area of effect unless you're immune via augmentation).

-If you have an unconscious guard near the mech, then take the time to move him. Otherwise the mech will self-destruct and kill the unconscious guard and there goes your non-lethalness...ess.

-Use the Stun Gun on the mech if you have a surplus of Stun Gun Darts. This stuns the mech and gives you time to drag any unconscious guards away from the mech's self-destruct kill radius. It only took me a few darts as I mostly used taken downs on the guards and two Tranq Gun Dart headshots on the snipers.

-If no TMP Grenade, use Frag Grenades or Frag Mines on the mech after stunning it with the Stun Gun. I replayed this portion of the game to see if it was possible and it is indeed very possible to get by with no TMP Grenade or Mine. Again, be mindful of the frag's killzone and remember to drag any unconscious guards away.

-This is one of the few times and extra Battery Cell is handy (far from necessary though as it really only helps with take downs and stealth. Stealth is only necessary if you don't have any energy consumables.

-At the start, if you stealth and sprint toward the rightmost heavy gunner (as you face the chopper), you can often take out a heavy gunner and a regular guard with a double take down (if you have it). You've got to head that direction at the start anyway so it doesn't hurt to try.

-Finally, check all guards after the battle and make sure you see the ZZzzz and not the skull. There are 10 guards, so check and count them all to make double sure they're unconscious.

Anyway, that's a few things I did that helped. Perhaps someone else will read the comments and get some use out of them. I replayed this part a few times to get an idea of what works and what doesn't, so not everything I mention is an absolute must, I'm just covering more situations with variety since variety is a huge factor in Deus Ex.

Good luck everyone and nice guide, phatal1ty (all of them are actually pretty nice). I'm buying the thumb ups this round.

This is how i got it. I did not prepare for this part so I had to make do with what i had.

If you have more stock of the equipment that I have mentioned below then you'll have an easier time than I did. It took me 6 tries to get the achievement.

Method:
NON LETHAL

Difficulty:
Give Me Deus Ex

Weapon: Stun Gun with 9 bolts only , Tranq Dart, 1 EMP, 1 concussion, 2 candy bars, 1 painkiller pills,

Augments that helped me: Fast charging battery, EMP and concussion resistance and max armor, double take down, Icarus

As soon as you are able to control Jensen, Jump down to your right side to work the map counterclockwise. As soon as you touch down, throw a concussion grenade at the center (in between maliks ride and the two heavy gunners. This will stun them giving you time to move up and Stun Gun the first assault guy on the right. Then move to the full wall that is between you and the heavy gunners. This should be a wall near the stairs parallel to the right most walls(edge of map) and facing the opposite building

At this time just before the chopper drops the robot you can stun the 1st heavy gunner. The second one will start shooting at you and move to you. Use the stun gun on him too. Stay in cover while shooting the stun gun A'la R6 Vegas/Graw ! This will focus their attention on you and not at Malik. **On one instance both of the heavy gunners actually came up to me and i was able to do a double take down and run back in cover and take pain killers. This works too, I only failed then because only at the last part, I missed one assault guy and he shot me.**

The 3rd guy hiding near the barrels next to them sometimes moves to close you -stun him. if not leave him for when the chopper drops down the Mech.

At this point the chopper should drop the mech. Before the mech pops out of the box throw (from behind cover) the EMP and this will damage the Mech before it can start shooting Malik. If you have not stunned the guy hiding in the barrels, the mech explosion will knock him out he's far enough so it wont kill him ( i checked and saw zzz's when i searched him afterward.)

Those are the ones that will do damage to Malik's ride fast. At this time you can then start taking out the remaining soldiers. You'll have enough time to do so without worry. Assault first then Snipers.

If youre still at the wall, then above you are two Assault and 1 sniper. Before going up the stairs check left to make sure the guy near the barrels is out. and start moving up the stairs, the two assault guys will not be facing you and are busy shooting at Malik.
Take them out, take down first then stun gun. This allows you time to recharge the battery. Go up the ladder to take out the sniper
From this point you can take out one assault guy on the building to the left corner of the map using your dart gun or just go down (jump down from the 3rd floor if you have Icarus) There should be 2 more assault guys and one sniper. Take them out.

The achievement will pop once Malik thanks you and flies out.

The 3 tries i failed were only at the last 3 guys - they did not kill malik but me - only because I couldn't find them in time and they had the drop on me. On the 6th try, I knew where they would be.

If she starts saying youre on your own. Reload and retry as suggested by phatal1ty.

Completely different to all the above solutions.

No EMP's?
No Stun Gun?
No Tranq rifle?
No Grenade of any sort?

Oh well.

Lots of Typhoon ammo and Cyberboost bars?

Excellent.

Run around to the right, jump on the crate and take out the first three guys on the upper floor with takedowns. At this point you'll want to use a Cyberboost Jar.

Go into stealth and run down the stairs to where the mech should have dropped and use your typhoon ability. Fully upgraded this should take out the mech in one hit. Drop out of stealth.

By now, one of the heavy dudes should be dead and the other will have made his way down to the chopper, so head over and take him out. He'll probably be behind it.

Return to where the mech was and there should be two guys, one on either side of the area to take out unless they were killed by the mech explosion.

Now, head to the back left corner (from the start of the levels viewpoint), run up the stairs of the building and take out the sniper here. Take his weapon and use it to kill the guy on the building across from you.

It may take a few attempts to get your timing and positioning sorted, but this is the easiest way I found when coming into the level with no grenades/guns.

If, like me at this point, you have absolutely nothing to fight with, no grenades, weapons etc. then read this!

*Just to add this may stop you from getting the Pacifist achievement. If you want that achievement, then save before-hand and leave Malik to die.*

This can be done without using weapons, grenades, cyberboost bars, NOTHING. The Bot can be taken out with the explosive barrels that are found around the site, and everyone else can just be non-lethally taken out. Even with only one bar of energy I managed this.

When you start go to the right and take out the guys there. By the time you've done that the Bot should be down, so throw the first explosive barrel at him.

Move around back to the middle and take out the heavies BEFORE they go behind Malik's chopper.

Then continue to take out the others, throwing any explosive barrels you see at the Bot. It should only take 3 to 4 explosive barrels to destroy it, if they get blown up any other way you might want to restart.

Leave the snipers until last since they do the least damage, focus on the Assault men once you have taken out the Heavies and the bot.

Again I did this with only one bar of energy using nothing to replenish it (just waiting for it to do it by itself), no healing things, no weapons or grenades.

Not really much of a solution but just to say it is possible. Once you get the option to fly to china for the second time you will not be able to resupply at all, so this might be your best bet.

09 Jan 2012 19:45

I got through this area last night. At game end, I got both Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds, so this solution won't invalidate either achievement if you're going for them.

To follow this solution, you will need:

3 full energy bars (might be able to handle less but you'll be eating nutrients).
Cloak at full upgrade (7 seconds per battery).
Stun gun with 6+ rounds.
Tranq rifle with 3+ ammo.
EMP grenade

Steps were:

1) Jump down off the landing platform and sprint into the covered walkway to the right. Do NOT jump up onto the container.

2) At the end of the walkway is a hole in the wall. Turn on your cloak and jump through it. Just to your right is a guard firing from beside a pillar. Shoot him with the stun gun.

3) STILL CLOAKED, turn left roughly 60 degress and head toward the main thoroughfare. You'll see two heavies move into view towards the VTOL. Stun the closest heavy with the stun gun.

4) STILL CLOAKED The second heavy should start retreating back toward the elevator. Chase him down and stun him too.

5) STILL CLOAKED Then look to your right and you'll see a guard near the building (where you dropped the first heavy). Circle behind him before your cloak runs out. Once you're behind him, you can let the cloak fall. Even when he takes cover and appears to be looking back toward you, he won't see you. Stun him too.

6) Once he is down, quickly move forward and drag the unconscious first heavy back. The robot is about to land and you want him clear of the blast radius. If you don't reach him before the robot lands, EMP the robot first then drag the heavy clear before it explodes. Remember that you can use RT to throw the heavy rather than drag him. You don't need to move the guard mentioned in #5. He is clear of the blast radius already.

7) Once the heavy is clear and the robot taken care of, run around behind the 2nd building (past the body of the second heavy) and you'll find a guard out front of it. In my playthrough, he was crouching on the ground and looked like he was setting up a backpack(?). Stun gun him.

8) Turn and run up the stairs to the first floor of the building. There will be a sniper up there crouched behind some crates. Stun/takedown him.

9) At this point, there is no one left on your side of the map but still 4 guards left in the other building. A sniper on the 2nd floor and 3 guys on the first floor. Taking cover against a pillar, I switched to the tranquiliser rifle and took out the sniper and two others. The fourth was behind a pillar and I couldn't get LoS.

10) Once there's only one guy left, sprint over to the back stairs of the other building. You'll come up behind the last guard and can either takedown or stun gun him.

As far as I could tell, none of the enemies were ever firing at me. I did take some damage during step 4 because I ran between guard #5 and the VTOL he was shooting at, but I was cloaked at the time and the guard continued to shoot at the VTOL after I passed, so I'm pretty sure it was accidental.

First off, I have read all these guides and they are all very good. Each provides a different perspective on a tricky achievement... Especially if you are going for this on your Pacifist and Legend playthrough, as I did.

Secondly, if you don't have an EMP grenade, one can be found down in the pit off to the left (from where you start). I looks like you may need to be able to withstand electrical shock to get it though. However, I doubt you will have time to grab it and still save Malik... Unless... The arrival of the mech seems to be triggered by your advancement, so maybe there is a way to get it and save Malik, but I kinda doubt it.

Lastly, when you are done, and if you are going for Pacifist, you'll want to make sure all ten (10) bodies are sleeping. On my first attempt at Pacifist, I did not personally kill anyone here, but through exploding barrel and/or mech, some died, but I thought it was not on me. I did not get Pacifist.

Be ready to try this multiple times. Even if you do it perfectly, the random nature of where the guards are may mean one will end up dead via explosion. If you don't care, so much the better, but just know it can be done. Oh, I should point out, I was also on Give me Deus Ex difficulty, so it can be done.

If at any time you can't use the stun gun, be ready to use B. I typically alternated so that the other could charge/reload.

So what worked for me was this:

Make a save as soon as you regain control of Adam. It will come in handy, though the automatic checkpoints should also work.

I had 2 gas grenades, one EMP, and my amour was max. I also boosted my health to 200 before getting started. If you go into the red on health, quickly use inventory (or quick inventory via holding the Y button) to health up. I also made sure every energy cell was green.

I ran down the left side (the picture you see when the save loads). I jump sprinted to the scaffolding then up the stairs. There will be a guy right in front of you. Zap him (1 down). Turn to your right and toss a gas grenade. There is probably already a heavy blasting Malik, The gas should take him out (2 down). Keep heading toward the back, turn right, and right again (your are now in the middle facing Malik) and take out the second heavy (3 down). At this point both heavies should be down. This is also when the mech drops, so have your EMP grenade ready. When the mech gets zapped, it self destructs. Hopefully that explosion won't kill anyone, or maybe you don't care.

At this point two things worked for me. Sometimes I would get lucky and take the two medium guys, at ground level, down. I would usually have to run around the back right. This makes 4 and 5 down.

If the opportunity was not there to get both, I would take out one (number 4) and then run up the stairs (to your left as you face Malik) where 3 more are on the second level. Take these guys down. Up the ladder is a snipper, get him and then return to to ground level (if you have the Icarus Landing System it will come in handy to save time). If you did not get both mediums on ground level, now is the time to get one or both. At this point it's 9 down, one to go. The last guy, a sniper, is up the other set of stairs. Get him and that's 10. Malik should be fine.

If you are going for Pacifist, now you need to check ALL 10 bodies and make sure they are sleeping. Just because you knocked them out before does not mean they weren't killed in an explosion. If any are dead, and you are going for Pacifist, reload and try again (previous checkpoint should also work).

Also worth mentioning is that even though this area is fully alarmed, it will not affect the "Foxiest of the Hounds" achievement.

Good luck!

For anyone going for a non-lethal play, there is incredibly non-taxing way to save Malik. My strategy involved the use of invisibility, some grenades (gas/EMP), and the stun gun (Best gun in the game imho) As soon as you are able, jump off the platform to the left of the heli and get behind cover. It helps to go invis until you are safely behind cover. Once there, lob 2/3 gas grenades around where the most soliders are located (it is generally from just to your left to directly in front of you). There will likely be a few heavy soldiers that escape this. Go invis, sneak up near them and stun them out. If you don't, they will continue pounding bullets into Malik's helicopter. Around this time, a mech will drop. Run up near the mech behind some cover. Throw an EMP grenade to cause it to self-destruct. Once this is done, you should only have a few snipers left, which can be easily taken out using invis/stun gun. This tactic worked for me more than once, having replayed the section trying to find the best route through. All in all, it is an easy way to save Malik's life, especially for those who are trying to play through the game without killing anyone or raising any alarms. Hope this helps.

*Save*

While heading back to Shanghai, your helicopter will be shot down. As soon as you have control of Jenson, make your save. Now this achievement can be tricky, and for me there's only one way to go about it. Unless you're really lucky, and things play out well, getting caught is the best route to take. Yes I said getting caught...

Taking this into consideration and once you've unlock the achievement and reloaded your save, you will be leaving Malik to die. So by all means, feel free to attempt the passive and not being spotted route, but after 20+ goes it just wasn't happening for me (sad times).

Once you have control of Jenson after the crash, your task will be to clear the area of enemies before Malik dies. Head to the right side and jump on the container then onto the second floor of the construction building. Kill the guy in front of you then head forwards. From here, 2 more will run up the stairs at the end, so take them out. Now you're in a good position to kill everyone else.

I recommend you go for the heavy armoured guys first as they deal the brunt of the damage, then deal with all the light guards scattered about. When the mech robot get's dropped in, throw an EMP grenade and you should be done. Once Malik is saved, she'll fly away and the achievement will unlock.

Unless you're sure you did this without getting caught, reload your save and stealth past everyone to the lift at the back and unfortunately leave Malik to fend for herself.

Missable! Before heading to Hengsha for the 2nd time (which means before heading to meet with Sarif the second time while in Detroit - Credits to Maldron) make sure you stock up on Gas & EMP Grenades, Stun Darts and that you are have completely upgraded your Cloaking aug and Power Cells if you intend to maintain a Non-Lethal (Pacifist) approach. This event occurs immediately after leaving Detroit.

The moment you land in Hengsha, Malik’s aircraft is besieged by Heavily Armed Soldiers on 3 sides. You on the other side with the aircraft in between you and the enemies. Make a save file before doing anything. You are given a choice here:
(i) Escape unnoticed while the enemy is distracted, or
(ii) Save Malik by knocking out/eliminating the enemies to unlock this trophy. You have 2-3 minutes before her aircraft blows up upon sustaining too much damage from the opposing force.

Lethal Approach: Use a sniper and take out snipers on the 2nd floor of left-side building and 3rd floor of right-side building. Shoot any explosive barrels you see. Go down to ground level and take out 2 Heavy Troopers quickly. A Box Droid will drop down shortly where they were, disable it with an EMP. Take out the remaining soldiers with any means necessary.

Non-Lethal Approach: Equip yourself with the Stun Gun and Gas Grenade. Cloak yourself, throw a Gas Grenade into the midst of the Heavy Troopers, and another onto the 2nd floor of the right-side building. Quickly Stun any other soldiers nearby and switch to an EMP Grenade. Make sure that the soldiers are knocked out before disabling the Box Droid with an EMP Grenade because when the Box Droid explodes it may kill soldiers who are up & standing beside it. Knock out any remaining soldiers including the snipers. Make sure you check that no one is dead when the dust settles before leaving the area.

During your second arrival in China, according to the story, your helicopter will be shot down. You will have two options - either get unnoticed past the entire heap of troops that are attacking the fallen car (and not spoil your passage for the " Pacifist " trophy), or save Malik.

It is important to remember that you have a limited amount of time, which is not shown anywhere; if you hesitate, the helicopter will explode and Malik will die. So you need to act quickly and clearly.

As for tactics: it is advisable to have a fully upgraded Typhoon system by this point. If you have a sniper rifle, that’s great, you can sit down with it at the very beginning of the level and shoot the reptiles with it. Otherwise, hide behind the helicopter. First of all, kill the two machine gunners. The machine gunners will go to the helicopter and go around it one by one - mow it down with your hands, it will be faster. While the second machine gunner is heading towards you, shoot snipers and ordinary soldiers at the same time (don’t forget to shoot at the exploding barrels). The machine gunner can be shot (or hit with his hands again) as soon as a box falls in the middle of the level, which will become a robot. Run to the robot and activate Typhoon. All that remains is to clear the zone of ordinary soldiers.

Malik takes off, they give him the trophy, everything is okay, everyone is happy and happy.

I didn't have a sniper. and I played on hard difficulty! but you can get the trophy very easily and quickly. As soon as the level starts, we immediately save, then we go into the game and change the difficulty level, after the trophy is received, load the game that you saved with the same difficulty level and just leave without saving! (this does not affect subsequent trophies, you can also kill if you get the Pacifist trophy) just don’t forget to load the save you made at the beginning of the level.

Since the video was deleted, here is another link for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSV34nbovQc On my own behalf, I’ll add that it’s better to go through it on an easy difficulty level. Well, for those who want to make all the trophies at once.

My tactics. On hard. Without a rifle. I choose a revolver. I immediately run to the left, down the stairs, and up the stairs. There is immediately a place to hide, behind the concrete. I run out to the center and make a typhoon. Back to Ukrit. Then I hit the robot with a grenade, then I shoot at the red barrels and finish off the remaining enemies.

The best time to use a sniper rifle. Immediately at the respawn point, you don’t even need to hide behind cover, the enemies will only shoot at the helicopter with Malik. First, we shoot the machine gunners (two rounds per head), then the rest, until you see a transport helicopter with a robot. We run there and throw an em mine. We finish off the rest. Total 15 rounds for a sniper rifle and one mine.

For those who knock out the Pacifist trophy!
You can easily get the trophy without killing anyone. As soon as the mission begins, we equip ourselves with a paralyzing pistol and an EMP grenade, turn on invisibility (2 batteries should be enough) and run to stun the machine gunners with the pistol, then we stun the soldier next to the machine gunners with the pistol and immediately drag his corpse to the elevator, not too close, but so that the explosion from the robot does not hit him. You can recharge yourself with bars. Next, we throw an EMP grenade at the robot’s feet and that’s it. We knock out the rest of the soldiers using the same paralyzing pistol. I knocked out the snipers last. Knocked out a trophy on the maximum difficulty level. After the mess, check the bodies for shard icons. If there is, then we replay and make sure that the robot’s explosion does not hurt anyone. We drag the bodies away if necessary. The main thing is to stun the machine gunners first.

if you don’t have a sniper, but have a couple of cyber boost bars (or a couple of charged energy cells), a shotgun, an emy grenade and a semi-automatic pistol, then the sequence is as follows:

we run out of cover and run into battle along the left flank. we hide behind a square concrete block, kill the soldier on the left. At this moment, machine gunners pass by you on the right and a mechanical spider falls from the sky. We throw an emy grenade into this pile. if you're lucky, stop the machine gunners.

run up to the machine gunners and knock them out one by one. and run for cover. from which you kill all the other soldiers. The main thing is not to forget about the snipers at the top.

and most importantly, everything must be done very quickly

I got through it the first time like this:
to the right along the stairs, along the wall into the hole, we kill the soldier, press ourselves against the pillar near which he stands, wait for the machine gunner. When he comes out, we throw a stun grenade, at this time the robot is dropped. We throw an EMP grenade. The robot explodes, killing both machine gunners and the soldiers below. We run along the right wall along the stairs to the top, kill two soldiers, from there we shoot in the head of the sniper on the other side, climb the stairs higher and take down the second sniper. All.
