You need to complete 8 levels in vintage mode. Actually, the game has only 8 unique levels, and then there’s some rad and trash. No continues, saves, cheats. The task is fiendishly difficult, but not impossible. It took me something like 5-6 evenings of hard training.

The main tactic is to cut down all the monsters that appear before the cherry. This is 6-12 pieces (at a glance and depends on the level). If you don't take the cherry, then the level will end there. At the same time, we do not pay attention to crystals and bags of gold. A backup option, if you are tightly squeezed in the middle of the level and next to the cherry, then you can take the cherry and try to quickly absorb the remaining crystals (risky, but if there is nothing to lose, then why not). Or if you have lost your life (which is extremely undesirable), then you can also finish the crystals.

The first seven levels are completed using this tactic. In the seventh - early eighth they should get an extra life for 20,000 points. Three spare lives (if you haven’t lost them before) are more than enough for the eighth level, which is completed simply by collecting crystals. It is impossible to pass it using the tactics suggested above, since there are not 4 but 5 mobs on the map at the same time, there are a lot of them, and the level is not the easiest.

I followed this algorithm: if I lost at least one life at levels 1 - 4, I immediately restarted, since it was easier to replay. If he lost his life at levels 5 - 7, he abandoned the main tactics and finished off the level by collecting crystals. The point is to compare time savings and chances. As if having already completed 4 levels and having lost most of the time trying, you can lose another 1 - 2 minutes, albeit a small one, but a chance.

With three spare lives you will probably be able to pass level 8. With two - most likely, but it may not work out. On the other hand, it’s the other way around, if it’s fortanet. I was lucky to get through with one life to spare. I first ate the lower right corner, killing the first mob with the right bag, then the lower left corner, shooting once and then losing a life. Then he ate the top, moving horizontally, like a snake.

The main difficulty is the randomness of the monsters' actions. Although in reality they are not so random. In most cases, they look for the shortest path to the digger by reaching a fork. This allows you to create a route and constantly improve it. Over time, the cases of when and why mobs start to eat are also remembered. Very good routes are worked out in this video. With minor modifications I stuck to it.

Try to be distracted more often to take a breath and unstick yourself. And in my opinion, it is better to make three attempts for an hour than one three-hour attempt.
